Chapter 5

Louis sat down on the chair opposite me and said "I'm sorry"

"For what?" I snapped back "For dumping me, for saying you never want to speak to me again. Be more specific" My voice was slightly raised and people in the common room started looking at us.

"Well for everything, I wasn't thinking straight I'm sorry" Louis said, I couldn't believe that he had finally apologised but it didn't really make much sense.

"You don't make any sense what's that supposed to mean"

"I'm sorry" He said again.

"So I'm supposed to forgive you then where do we go from there" I asked him and he looked at me for a few moments.

He didn't say anything he just looked down to the floor so I said "Is sorry meant to make me feel happier that you dumped me because it really doesn't" He looked shocked at my outburst but it annoyed me that he was being such a coward about the whole situation.

The thing that I first liked about Louis was that he always wasn't afraid to say what he thought. He would always stand up for what he believed in. But everything seemed to change when Joe found out about us. I regretted telling him well I didn't actually tell him, he forced it out of me. I knew that when Louis visited my house one day Joe said something to him. But Louis wouldn't say what it was, I knew everything had changed from the way he acted. whenever he was at my house he seemed nervous and on edge.

"I don't know" He said which made me want to slap him.

"We could try and make it work again. I could talk to my brother I'll make sure he stays off your back."

"No I don't think its that simple. I need time to think about this." Louis said.

"Please Louis" I begged "Can we at least try" a tear rolled down my cheek. "I love you can't we just try again"

"I don't know its not that simple"

"It is simple, we can just try again and forget about everything that happened and I will make sure my Joe doesn't bother you please" I must have sounded so desperate but I really didn't care I just wanted him back.

"Lexi you don't get it I'm sorry but I don't think I want to try this again. Sorry." Louis said and walked out the room.

Tears streamed down my face and vision became blurry. I felt so stupid for begging me. He only wanted to say sorry for everything and I just made it worse. I put my head on the table so no one could see me crying.

"Are you ok" I heard someone ask, it sounded like Harrys voice but I didn't want to look.

"Lexi just let me know if you're ok. Louis just told me what happened, please talk to me" he actually sounded concerned which was unusual.

"Oh so he told you how I was begging for him to get back with me" He probably couldn't hear what I was saying properly as my head was still on the desk.

"No, well yes but not exactly like that" There was a serious tone in Harrys voice.

"You don't need him anyway you've got your friends we care about you" he said.

"You only care sometimes"

"I always care about you I just don't show it" Harry said and I looked up at him and smiled.
