Chapter 14

Lexi's POV:

Louis' mum was standing in front of me with a worried look on her face.

"Lexi" She said and hugged me tightly "Louis told me how ill you've been I hope you're alright"

I was so confused why did she say I was ill. I knew that Louis must have not told her about the break up. Probably because she'd want to know why.

"Ill?" I asked her.

"Yes you have pneumonia, silly me I should close the door" After she closed the door she pushed past me. "I'll put the kettle on"

I loved seeing Louis mum but seeing her was a painful reminder of the break up. I had actually missed her too.

"So how are you?" She asked me?

"Fine" I really just wanted her to go. I couldn't break the news to her that me and Louis had broken up. She'd want to know why and she would be even more distraught to find out her son kissed someone else.

"Oh so when did you come out of hospital?" I thought to myself why did he bring hospital into the lie. I felt like just telling his mum there and then exactly what had happened but my conscience stopped me.

"Yesterday" Louis mum raised an eyebrow so I assumed Louis had told her something different. I didn't really care though it was his problem he should be happy I went along with it I thought.

"Louis said you came home last week"

"Yeah I did, I went back again because I started to feel worse but it was only for s few hours" She looked unsure but then nodded.

"Ok well I'm glad you're feeling better. I'll be off now I hope you feel better soon."

Just as Louis mum walked down the hallyway Andy came down the stairs. He looked at me and furrowed his eyebrows ans I mouthed to him 'I'll tell you later'.

"Bye" She said smiling her eyes lit up and crinkled at the corners just like Louis'.

"Why the hell was she here" Andy asked as soon as I shut the door.

"Shh she'll hear you. She thinks I have pneumonia Louis must have told her some shit as an excuse as why I havent been there" I explained the whole story to him.

"What a complete dickhead" Andy said which made me laugh, he hardly ever swore unless there was a reason to.

"Who's car was that outside?" Harry asked as he walked into the living room.

"How did you get in?" I yelled at him and he stood back a bit.

Harry held up a sliver shiny key "The spare key your mum gave us" He said and grinned.

"That's only supposed to be used in emergencies" I said and he frowned.

"Well it is kind of an emergency" Harry paused for a moment "I um I have cancer" he said and I was speechless.

"I'm only joking I'm just bored so I came round. I pucnched him in the stomach really hard and he whined.

"That fucking hurt" Harry glared at me.

"You deserved it you had me worried too" Andy added.

"So who's car was it"

"Louis' mum" I said and I knew that is have to go through the whole story again.

"Wow" was all Harry said after I told him what happened.

"If I was you I would have told her exactly what her son had done" Harry said which wasn't suprisng as I could imagine him doing that if he was in the same situation.
