Louis' POV:
Things were starting to get better at home. My mum actually made me breakfast, like she used to every single day. I knew at some point I needed to apologise properly but I needed to figure out what I was actually going to say.
I didn't really have an explanation for why I did it other than being drunk which apparently wasn't a good enough excuse in my mother's eyes. She was scared I was going to turn out like my dad which was probably a good reason to be worried. That night when the truth came out was horrible. I still blame myself for them breaking up, if I hadn't opened the door then that may still be together even now. But that would mean Ella wouldn't have been born.
I couldn't really remember much of my dad other than he would always play football with me. I only ever really remember what he looks like when I look back at old photos. All the old photos are hidden in the loft as my mum doesn't want to look at them and she doesn't want Ella to find them and ask questions. As Ella still thinks her dad is my dad too.
I hated fathers day having to get my step dad a card so Ella wouldn't get confused. My mum has always wanted us to be the perfect family of 4 which would never happen.
The day I met Tony he managed to get a scratch on the side of his brand new BMW. I only scratched his car to warn him off. I thought he'd loose interest in my mum if he realised she had a bad child. I was only 7 and I didn't want anyone replacing my dad so soon. Even though 2 years had gone by since he left I still hoped that someday he would turn up at the doorstep and we could be a family again.
The scratch on Tony's car didn't scare him off. He shouted at me he when he found out it was me so I cried for ages hoping my mum would end it with him. It didn't work so I gave up.
The next time I met Tony he took me to a football match. I tried to sulk and pretend I didn't like the match but but when my team kept scoring goals I couldn't help but scream. That was when I started to like him.
I wanted to look in the loft for pictures of my dad. I knew that my mum would be coming home soon after picking Ella up from school so I had to be quick.
The loft was full of my old toys, after stepping my way through all the Lego blocks I found the big brown box which had all the old photos in. I opened the first album in the box to find a picture of me and my dad standing by the football net in my old house. I was grinning while holding a football and my dad had his arm around my shoulder. I never realised that I looked so much like him. He had the same shade of brown hair as me and crystal blue eyes. I must have been about 5 in the picture so it must have not been long before he left.
I was snapped back into reality as I heard car doors slam outside. I pulled the photo out of it's wallet in the album shoved it into my pocket. I made it out the loft just as my mum was putting her keys though the door.

I hoped that my business lesson wouldn't be spent paranoid wondering who Lexi was texting.
As I walked in Lexi was already sitting in her seat on her phone. As soon as I sat down he sat up straight in her seat and moved he phone to an angle I couldn't look at.
My paranoia immediately increased when I saw her smiling at her phone. I didn't bother asking her who it was add I didn't want to get another sassy comment from her.
Lexi's POV:
*I'll meet you In the college car park. Can't wait to see you x* Liam texted me.
I knew that everyone in business would see me smiling at my phone but I didn't care. I couldn't contain my excitement. The fact that Liam was excited made me even more excited but anxious at the same time. I wished that the lesson would go fast but I kept looking at the clock which made time go even slower.
Louis kept shifting in his seat uncomfortably. I was surprised that he didn't ask me who was texting me like he did last lesson. Although he probably didn't ask because I snapped at him last time.
As soon as the lesson was over I quickly said bye to Charlie and went to find Liam in the car park. My previous excitement turned into worry. I kept thinking what if he didn't turn up or if I got the wrong day.
My worry was gone when I saw Liam's silver car on the other side of the car park. I looked behind me to check no one was watching me. Especially Harry or Charlie who would only ask questions. I was planning on telling them when I was sure something would actually happen between me and Liam.
Liam didn't notice me untill I opened the door of the car. He was humming along to some rap music that I'd never heard of.
"Hey" he greeted me "How are you?"
"I'm fine thanks" I replied forgetting that I should have asked him how he was too.
It took a few moments of silence for me to realise I hadn't asked him how he was. "um how are you?" I said in the most awkward shaky voice ever.
"Good thanks" he smiled.
I hated myself for choosing the most stupid drink at the coffee shop, an iced frappe. I must have sounded like an elephant trying to suck all the ice through the straw.
"So how's college?" Liam asked breaking the silence.
"Its ok just can't wait for the summer"
"Yeah same, even though it's going to be really weird in September when I start university" I had completely forgot Liam would be leaving college.
"Which uni are you thinking of?" I questioned secretly hoping that it was one close.
"I'm not really sure yet it really depends on what results I get"
Our conversation was interupted by someone calling my name from the other side of the coffee shop.
"Lexi, Lexi" the girl called and as she came closer I realised it was Sarah.
"We've got to go" I quickly said to Liam he looked at me confused but got up and I pulled him out the door.
"What's wrong" he demanded probably annoyed that I had ruined our 'date'. "Who was that girl?" he panted trying to keep up with my fast pace.
I tired not to sound like I was crying but my voice came out in a pathetic little squeak "Sarah".
"Can we talk I want to apolgise Louis never said he had a girlfriend or I wouldnt have kissed him" Sarah shouted infront of everyone in the shopping centre. I hid behind Liam so Sarah wouldn't see the tears streaming down my face.
"Leave her alone can't you see she doesn't want to talk to you" Liam explained Sarah was just about to open her mouth to say something when Liam put his arm around my shoulder and we walked off.
"I'm sorry for ruining today" I sniffed though my tears "It's just I haven't seen her since I found out everything. Seeing her just made it all come back.
"Don't worry it's fine" he assured me but I still felt incredibly guilty.
We walked back to his car after the shortest date I had ever had in my entire life.
"What if she thinks we're going out and tells everyone?" I blurted.
"Well it's not like anyone would believe her after everythings that happened. It wouldn't be so bad even though there isn't an us yet" He smirked, I looked at him confused I couldn't tell wether that was him asking me out or just his wishful thinking.
"Was that your way of implying to want there to be an us?" I asked generally confused.
"If you want it to be then ok" he smirked.
"Stop being so mysterious" I playfully hit his arm making him laugh.
"Fine will you go out with me?"
"Yes" I grinned and pressed my lips against his.
