*Alex POV*

"Hi" Ellie said walking in the kitchen wearing a long black sweater unbuttoned with her black sweats and her I love moustache t-shirt. She looked at me for a breif second then, I watched as her eyes fluttered across the kitchen with excitment. I was happy to feel excepted by her mother. "Finally, after a year of being in a relationship with Ellie she is excepting me" I thought to myself as her mother asked her questions that I didnt bother to listen to.

My mind drifted off to another place. I am a random thinker at times I would have nothing better to do but think randomly it kept me happy completely ignorant from the truth about the world. What can I say ignorance is bliss.

I suddenly heard shouting coming from Ellie. I decided to listen maybe I can help her calm down.

"HE DOESN'T DESERVE TO KNOW ANYTHING. NOT THE COLOR OF MY HAIR! NOT IF I'M LOSING MY HAIR! HE DOESN'T EVEN DESERVE TO KNOW THAT I MIGHT DIE! HE WON'T GIVE TWO SHITS IF I WAS DYING! HE WALKED OUT ON US FOR THAT STUPID COLLEGE BITCH! HAS HE CALLED TO SAY TO ASK HOW WE ARE! NO! SO WHY THE FUCK GIVE HIM THE TIME OF DAY! HE CAN BURN IN A FUCKING PIT FOR ALL I CARE" Ellie shouted at her mother. It was shocking I mean I've seen her angry but this was more like hatred and hurt put in one coming from her. I knew she hated her father because she told me. However, I kmow she is also hurt because of him; something I had to figure out on my own.

"DON'T YOU DARE TALK ABOUT YOUR FATHER LIKE THAT HE DESERVES TO KNOW. HE IS YOUR FATHER AFTER ALL." her mother shouted back at Ellie immediately making Ellie's eyes flow down to the floor in shame.

Her mother sighed before adding on "I understand you're angry about what he did the choices he made and still chooses to make but, he needs to know" she said lowing her voice and showing that she understands her feelings towards him.

"I'm not speaking to him mom and thats it. He won't care. I know he won't" Ellie said before walking out the kitchen her voice cracking in the beginning of every word that she said.

The tention filled the room as her mother paced back and forth in obvious thought. Linda and I were probably thinking the same thing.

How can we better the situtation with out Ellie getting defensive and emotionally.

Our goal right now is to keep Ellie happy at her best but, how could she do that with her father around. Between us three we know whenever Ellie is around her father she isn't at her best she is quiet and anger reflects on her face as if it is the mirror of thoughts.

"Should I go speak to her maybe try to convince her to at least try to talk to him." I asked Linda. She looked up her face brightening at that statement.

"Please" she said sounding digustingly needy and worried.

Once again I walked up the stairs. I knocked at her door.

"Come in" Ellie's voice said sounding peppy.

When I walked into her room she was sat on her bed legs crossed, phone in right hand, and a can of coke cola in the other. Classic Ellie. She was smiling at her phone and by that smile I instantly knew that she was occuping her thoughts with happiness trying her best to put her feelings towards her father to the side. It was almost her way of distracting herself.

I walked over to her and sat on her bed. For a few I watched her go through her phone reading her text messages and drinking her soda. When she looked up at me and met my eyes her face flushed blush and dropped back down to her phone. She put the can of coke inbetween her legs and put her phone to her side.

"Would you like a can of coke?" Ellie asked looking at me. Her voice soften and sweet, almost child like. I shook my head in response. "You sure it taste really good" she said shooting me a smile as she drank the last bit of soda.

"You okay" I asked unsure if I'd get the truth out of her.

"I'm okay" she lied tugging on the right side of her bottom lip with her teeth. It killed me when she did that. I found it completely sexy and it always made me lose my train of thought.

"I don't believe you" I said making her look at me and tug at her lip even more.

"I don't want to talk to him" she said refering to her father. "He is nothing to me, means nothing to me............ anymore"

"Think of it this way" I began " if you tell him about your situtation he will feel like shit for not being there for you"

"Yeah but,......" she began trying to wing her way out of this.

"No buts its better off if you tell him so he can feel horrible." I interrupted her.

She nodded her head and picked up her phone again.

"Babe, its 10 pm already you need to start heading home your sister is alone with your mother and......" she said her words picking up pace.

"Babe my sister is staying at my aunts house for a few weeks and I'm supposed to be staying there as well myother isn't home." I said.

"Where's your mother?"

"Prison" I answered with a fake smile.

"Oh sorry for asking"

"Its okay"

"Shouldn't you start heading to your aunts then, its getting late?" she stated meeting my eyes once again.

"Yeah I should. I'll be back tomorrow okay" I said getting up from the bed.

"Okay" she said. "Get there safe"

"Your gonna talk to your father right"

She sighed before responding "Yes I will"

I hovered of the bed to press my lips against hers before finally leaving. I said goodbye to her mother then, headed for my aunts.
