*Ellie's POV*
The darkness surround me and the cold rushed into me leaving me goosebumps and a freezing nose. I could not see anything. Obviously. But something told me to walk straight. As I walked I tried to listen to my surroundings and maybe I can find out were I was but, heard nothing.
As I continued to walk I tried to think of something that would bring me joy at least a teaspoon of bliss and maybe with the right amount hope and the right amount of and the right amount of faith my happiness will expand into something more than the ruthless, depressing and out right horrible feeling I've been feeling lately. However, the longer I walked the more my hope seem to fade and the blissful energy I once forced into me instantly turned into nothing and I began to feel weak and broken once again. But not once did I disreguard my journey. I need to get out of here and it seems like walking straight is my only way.
I walked some more and continued to walk until suddenly a spark of light revealed itself from the distance. I picked up my speed just a little and the hope appeared back in me and my croocked smile slightly expanded. As I got closer to the light it seemed clear to me that the light was coming from a room. What's in the room? Is it my way out? Question that I knew won't be answered unless I continued my journey. I finally was able to see the the heat that came out from my body when exhaled. I could finally hear my even breaths but, still nothing that told me were I was and how to get out.
The light hurt my eyes as I walked into. As I entered the room I could hear the echoes of my feet trailing after every step I took. Then, the door I entered from slammed making me run back to it and bang on it so it will reopen. I gave up on banging on the door and turned around to find mirrors surrounding me. The mirrors stood from ceiling to floor. Before I can comprehend what was going on I heard whispers. My eyes traveled around the room in search for the whispers. They didn't seem like ordinary whispers, they seemed hurtful almost as if it was gossip. The kind that starts trouble. The kind that remains in someones soul forever; creating hurt.
Minutes go by and the whispers continue. Still no trace to were they are coming from. "They must be coming from the mirrors." I said to myself as I slowly walked to the left side of the room. The first mirror I passed shouted out the word 'weak' as I stood in front. I didn't like what it had to say so I trailed onto the next one. This one shouted out naive as I stood in front of. The third one didn't shout at me instead it showed me a word. It spelled T-N-E-L-I-S. "Silent?" I said and the word disappeared revealing only me.
It had turned out that the left side of the room had nothing but cruel things to say about me. So I trailed on to the right side of the room. To my surprise the right side was the completely opposite of the left. Nothing but nice and positive things were said. One mirror told me I was resilent whilst the other said I was beautiful. While, the last one said that I was brave. However, I believed the left side of the room more than the right. Once I reached the last mirror I heard a magically sound something that sounded like a fairies wand making childs wish come true.
I turned around to find another mirror standing in the center of the room. I was hesitant walking towards it because I feared what I would be told about myself but, fear didn't overcome my curiousity. The mirror did not look like the other mirrors it was unique. It had a gold frame with cloud like features craved into the sides and on top of the mirror lied two baby angels facing eachother.
I stood in front of the mirror and saw nothing but the door I entered from. "Where I am?" I shouted above the whispers. "Please! I wanna leave! Let me go!" I shouted once again. I leaned back on the mirror and felt myself sinking into it. I looked around in panic and finally sank into a dark grey room. I fell on my ass and watched as the mirror slowly disappeared leaving me to look at the rest of the wall. I prompt myself up and ran to the wall and banged on it. "No!No!" I screamed helplessly as the palms of my heads beat the wall constantly.
