Huge time skip

Barriss' POV:

It has been a week since my reunion with Ahsoka. Ezra was doing fine... Except of the fact that... he has some ... things .... to deal with now... I went to the kitchen and I saw a kid struggling to get something from the highest shelf.

"Need some help?" I said giggling.

"Nah... I can do it!" He responded.

"Ez... don't hurt yourself. I know it's hard but I can help."

"I know, Barriss. But I don't want to be weak. I'll have to live with this. And I'll figure out step by step how to do that."

I looked at him and he tried something new. He pulled himself up and reached for the sirope. I wanted to help him but I knew that he would be mad if I did. And after a couple of minutes he managed to get it. The boy looked at me with a big smile and placed the plate and the sirop on his lap.

"Are you coming?" He said while he rolled away.

I looked at him.

Ahsoka hurt him so badly... he can't even stand anymore... He is disabled, now... and seeing him in the wheelchair breaks my heart. The doctor said that he will never walk again... And that because of Ahsoka. She will pay. Ezra says that it's alright, that the scar I gave her was enough, but it isn't alright. It wasn't enough. If they weren't with that much people, I should've fought with her. But I knew that I couldn't win. I'll get her. Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but someday.

"Hello-ow? What are you thinking?"

"Nothing you need to worry about." I said smiling "c'mon! Let's eat! I'm starving."

And before everyone starts saying that I'm laughing with disabled people, I'm not!

I want to show that those people can be like Ezra. They live life in a different way as we do. But that doesn't mean they can't be happy, right?
