I stand in the kitchen, struggling to say awake. "Okay, so explain what we're doing again, and why you dragged me out of bed at three in the morning, for the camera?" I say sluggishly, rubbing my eyes with my free hand, my arm with the cast holding the camcorder. Gwen and Joyce look at each other grinning. "Well, I got woke up by Adam screaming, so I peeked in his recording room and he was recording a horror map. So, we are going to play a little prank on him." She explains, holding up the bucket of water and gesturing to Joyce who holds up a container of flour. I press the stop recording button and put down my hand. It's now Monday morning, the 23rd. I laugh halfheartedly as we walk up the stairs, pressing record again. On Saturday Adam had bought me the camera for vlogs and stuff, and luckily it has night vision. I point the camera at my face. "Here goes nothing!" I whisper as we walk to the game room.
I walk over to the door and slowly push it open, as I'm the only one without both of my hands occupied. The entire room is illuminated with the soft glow emitted by the computer screen. Adam is sitting in front of it, headphones on, and for some reason hugging a pillow. I snicker as we walk up behind him, Joyce and Gwen in front. "Oh god." Adam says, swiveling the mouse to make his Minecraft character look around. Whispering as softly as I can, I count down from five. When I hit zero, I knock the headphone off his head, and Gwen automatically dumps the water on him, and when he shots up, and turns to face us, Joyce throws the flour in his face, and we run, laughing. "What the f*ck!" I hear his screaming.
I laugh harder, collapsing on the ground. I turn, still having the camera on, to see Adam coming at me, his face entirely white and his shirt soaked. "HALP, IT'S THE FLOUR MONSTER!" I scream. I press to stop recording just as he tackles me. He pins me down and starts to tickle me. I laugh even harder dropping the camera on the ground and tying to shove him away. "It was Joyce and Gwen's idea!" I giggle. He stands up and grins evilly down at me. "Well then I'll go get them." He says, before running down the hallway and down the stairs. I stand up shakily, still laughing, and walk back to the game room. I sit down in Adam's chair, still giggling and look at the camera. "And that's how you prank Adam." I say. shutting off the camera and ending the recording.
---Time Skip to Morning---
I wake up with my head on the desk of Adams recording setup. I realize that the ground is covered in flour and I laugh as I remember last night. I walk back to my room and see my video camera lying on my bedside table. I grab it and walk back over to my recording setup. Adam and I had spent most of our Saturday setting up the soundproof foam and the mic, which is a really crappy one, and my really old headphones. Adam wants me to get a pair of Gunnars, so he said he would take me to the GameStop at the mall and buy me a pair, even though they are really expensive. I open the computer and open up Youtube. I put up a new Youtube, yet I haven't posted anything but Adam hasn't told the Sky Army about Gwen, Joyce, and I, so I doubt I would get any views. I plug in the camera and put up the video, leaving it to render.
I smile as I stand up and walk over to my side table, unplugging my phone from the charger. It's a crappy Samsung T-Mobile phone, that I have to pay for myself, so I don't text very often. I put it in my sweatshirt pocket and walk downstairs where I find Adam, with some flour still caught in his hair, making breakfast. "I noticed you didn't sleep in your room last night." He comments as I sit down, not even turning around. "I fell asleep, okay! It was three in the morning!" I exclaim, banging my hands on the table. He shrugs and turns to me. "I'll finish breakfast if you go and get Joyce and Gwen from their room and get dressed. We want to go early if we want to stay there for a bit." I nod. The dynamic-duo have to share a room because its the only one left. They're lucky Adam has two guest rooms! I get up again, running through the downstairs hallway as to the last room where they are asleep in their twin beds.
I fling open the door and hear it bang loudly against the wall. "WAKE UP ALL YOU BUTTS." I shout as loud as I can. Joyce falls out of her bed and Gwen shoots up. "Ow." Joyce whines, rubbing her head. "Why'd you do that?" I smirk. "For waking me up at three in the morning!" She looks confused for a split second before a grin breaks out across her face. "It was worth it though!" I shrug. "True. You two better get dressed. Adam's cooking us breakfast, and he's takin us shopping afterwards." Gwen pretends to shriek. "OH MA GOD HAVE MY BABIES!" She screams. I burst out laughing. "I get the Pewds reference, but how the hell does that even make sense?" She laughs along and shakes her head. "I, have no freaking idea." She laughs. Gwen was never one to curse. I walk out of the room still laughing, and head back to the kitchen, as it's the only way to the upstairs staircase. "What the f*ck was that all about?" Adam says when I enter the room. "Oh, just Gwen impersonating Pewds' impression of a crazy fangirl." I reply casually. "Why?" He asks. "For some reason to mock the fact we're all going shopping." I laugh.
Adam raises his eyebrows and turns back to the food. "I have learned not to question her." He states. I shrug. He's only known her a day and he already knows that. He's smarter than most. I run up the stairs and skid into my bedroom, nearly tipping over, and scramble over to my dresser. I yank open the drawers and pull out a creeper inside t-shirt and a pair of jeans. I change into them and quickly run back down the stairs, flying into my seat at the table, just as Joyce and Gwen run in and sit down. We all pull a huge grin across our face and look at Adam who looks at us questioning look.
"What?" he says, setting down a tray of waffles. I immediately snatch one of them and stuff it in my mouth, at the exact same time as Joyce and Gwen. "OHHHH WAFFLE TIME IT'S WAFFLE TIME WILL YOU HAVE SOME WAFFS OF MINE!" I say in a muffled yell. Adam gives me a weirded out look, raising his eyebrows. "What the f*ck?" I burst out laughing, almost choking on the mouthful of waffle. I swallow, taking a few more waffles from the tray and neatly place them down on my plate. "So, where do you all want to go shopping, because you two have absolutely no clothes but the stuff you're wearing." We all slam out hands down on the table. "Aeropostale!" We all say at once. "Best place ever!" I say, grinning. "Awesome stuff." Joyce adds. "All except the shoes." Gwen mutters. I squint at her. "What, they have no tread!" She exclaims. I roll my eyes. "Who cares!"
Adam nods. "Well, at least this trip will give me an idea of what to get you all for Christmas." He adds. I grin. "It's only two days away!" I remember the tree in the front we bought yesterday, and then spent the rest of the day decorating it with a bunch of lights and other things. "I may or may not of bought a few things for you on Friday." Adam says, gesturing to me. I jump up and down. "Yay!" I squeal. I smirks and rolls his eyes. "Oh grow up." I look at him with an "are you f*cking kidding me" look. "Oh, speak for yourself." I cry. We finish eating and I run to the door and pull on my (Aeropostale!) boots and wait for everyone to come over. "Let's do dis!' I say with a grin
