"Alright, we got back late from the adoption center yesterday, so I didn't get to introduce you to everyone," Adam says, helping me over to my computer. My leg and arm at now wrapped in bandages, and Adam had given me an old pair of crutches that he had used once when he broke his leg. I was still really unsteady on them so Adam had had to help me around.
I sit down at my desk and open the MacBook, the lock screen automatically popping up. I turn to Adam. "Now look away. I don't want you sneaking in here at night and using it!" I say, mockingly acting like a mother scolding her child. Adam rolls his eyes but turns away from me. I quickly type in the password and hit enter. My background, a fan art I drew for Team Crafted a while back, pops up and I tap Adam's shoulder. "You can turn around now." I say, opening up Skype. He turns back to face me and catches a glimpse of the fan art before its covered by the Skype page.
"Woah, that's really good!" he says. I blush, downsizing Skype so he can look at the picture more closely.
"Thanks. I think it took me about a week to finish the whole thing." It fills the whole screen, and it's of Team Crafted and friends Minecraft skins in a line, with their name above them in my somehow neatly scrawled handwriting.
"When did you make it?" he asks curiously. I shrug.
"Like a month before my computer was taken away, which was about three months ago, so in September."
He smiles. "Do you mind if I post it on Twitter, after I of course tell everyone about you?" I pause thinking for a second before nodding.
"Sure. I can email it to you. What's your email?" He puts a hand behind his head.
"Butterdude576@gmail.com," he mutters. I laugh.
"Dude, that would be so easy to figure out if they knew the number!" He just crosses his arms.
"Exactly. They don't know it and I plan to keep it that way," I roll my eyes and open up my email, typing in Adam's before attaching the file and sending.
"Now let's get back to Skype," I say.
"Alright, I told everyone they will receive a Skype request in the next ten minutes and that they have to accept it. They probably all assume it's a new one for me or something," he says. I nod slowly.
"Can you put in everyone's names?" I ask. "Don't expect me to by some miracle know them." He laughs.
"Yeah, sure," he says before leaning over and typing the names in to my contacts. My Skype ID is badwolf104 [DOCTOR WHO REFERENCE *flips table*]. Nothing that you would really expect. "Done!" Adam says, stepping away.
He had added Mitch, Jerome, Ty, Jason, Quentin, Ian, Tyler [MunchingBrotato], and LogDotZip [I'm not writing Tyler twice]. Then a grin spreads across my face.
"I have an awesome idea," I say evilly. Adam smirks at me.
"What do you have in mind?" he asks. I get up out of the chair, pushing him into it and standing behind him.
"You call them and when they answer, I'll be behind the chair so they can't see me, and then I'll pop out from behind and freak them out!" I say, crouching down. He grins.
"Good plan," he says, turning to the laptop. I turn around with my back to the chair.
After a couple clicks and a few rings, I hear voices that almost make my heart stop.
"Oh, I was right! It is you!" I hear the familiar voice of Jason shout.
"I had no idea," I hear Ty say.
