"Dei, I'm sorry." Richard said with tears in his eyes. He placed his hand on her arm but she pushed him away.
"Sorry? Richard ano pang magagawa ng sorry mo eh nangyari na?" Dei answered, wiping off her own tears.
"Di ko naman yun sinasadya."
"Di sinasadya? Richard .... kitang kita ko yung mga nangyari. Di mo sinasadyang wala kang damit nung dumating ako? Di mo sinasadya na pumailalaim sa kaniya at hawakan ang pwet niya? Bakit mo ako niloko Richard? Kulang ba? Huh? Kulang ba lahat ng binigay ko? Kulang pa ba na tinalikuran ko yung pamilya ko?" Dei asked, finally breaking down in tears. Richard caught her in his arms before she fell to the floor. He placed a hand on her cheek and tilted her head so she can face him.
"Aayusin ko lahat. Promise, gagawin ko lahat ng gusto mo."
"Para saan pa?" Maine asked, pulling away from him. She then took a deep breath and stood up.
"Alam mo Richard , dapat ako yung humingi ng tawad eh. Siguro panget talaga ako di ba? Siguro kahit anong gawin ko di pa rin ako yung taong gusto mong makasama sa gabi."
"You know that's not true." Richard asked, sobbing.
"Then why does it feel that way?! Richard , kung lolokin mo lang pala ako why did you even ask me to marry you?!"
"I love you Dei."
"I'm sorry Richard, I'm done." Dei said, finally drained of everything. Her heart shattered to pieces, her eyes swollen with tears. Slowly, she removed her wedding ring and placed it on top of the table.
"Dei ... please." Richard begged.
"I'm sorry ... we're done, I want a divorce."
