'Okay. What is so beautiful, and yet its only purpose is to die?' Giggles Nygma, holding the clock hand in his latex-gloved hands.
'Ed, cut the crap. What did you find?' Deadpans Harvey, trying to shut up the deeply excited forensic scientist.
'A Bloom! Geddit?' Smiles Eddie with a little twinge of annoyance in his brown eyes. He then hits a button on a projector and a photo of someone who wasn't Bloom pops up on the screen.
'Yes. This is awkward really, because while Bloom's fingerprints were definitely on the pendulum - so were this guy's... and unless William Tockman lives with Richard Bloom, I think we've found our suspect!' Announces Eddie.

'Why not Bloom? Why is he not on the board?' I press, and am promptly met by one of Nygma's fingers telling me to 'shush'.
'Bloom has no criminal records. Actually, according to the system he doesn't even exist... but we'll just gloss over that one, shall we!'

'Yes.' Growls Harvey, with a slightly unnerving hint of anger in his voice, and walks over to Nygma to take the criminal record file on Tockman. He stares at it for just a second, and then looks back up at me and Gordon.
'This guy's just a petty criminal. Carjacking and attempted mugging.' He announces.

Whilst Harvey was talking illegibly to Gordon, a small man with thinning grey hair walks up to Nygma, and the two walk off to the lab. I briefly look at the two, and then decide that I should follow them. The man, whose badge identifies him as 'Arnold Wesker'; seems to be anxious about something or other, and Nygma may actually be a calming influence on the poor man.

Arnold runs towards a shelf and then slams down a massive file onto the examination table, and Nygma's hands go up like a cowboy at dawn.
'Yes, Mr Wesker. I will sort these out, though I need to go and check on Ms Paige at the moment.' Says Ed, and Arnold's eyes widen like a man in front of a truck.

He walks over to me and asks me if I'm alright with the verdict that he reached from his research, and so I tell him that I never really had any evidence that Bloom was an evil sod, I just took a guess. Upon hearing this, Eddie smiles briefly - presumably waiting to spout some more trashy riddles - but then his brown eyes fall about a mile when he realised that I'd just taken a ridiculous guess-attempt to convict some random man.
'Are you okay?' Smiles Ed; suddenly nervous.
'I am most definitely okay.' I smile, while knowing that I am obviously slipping for some reason - that I just can't place.
