"Mike!" Carrie hollered running towards her man who was walking to his car, about to head over to Bridgestone for his practice. As soon as she was close enough, she wrapped her arms around him, holding on for dear life.

"Are you okay?" he asked very concerned as to why the sudden sprint. "What's wrong?"

"Wait for me," she said, unable to wipe the stupid smile off of her face. God, she loved this man.

"Wait for you?" he questioned.

"Wait for me," She repeated. "Wait for me to come back from tour. I don't want to be with anyone else but you. I'd rather wait a thousand days to see you than find some other washed up guy on this earth."

Mike had no words at the moment. The girl in front of him had spoken so fast, and he was just trying to process it all. His thoughts finally became clear, and as soon as they did he couldn't wipe the stupid smile off of his face. He picked up the petite blonde, swinging her around in circles as giggly squeals erupted from her sweet voice. When he set her back on the ground, they stared each other eye to eye, their faces only millimeters apart.

"Carrie Marie, I will always wait for you," he spoke softly before capturing her lips against his. "What are you doing right now?"

"The tour bus is about to pick me up to leave," she said. Right as she spoke, the bus pulled up. "I need to go get my stuff from the house to put on there."

"Let me help you," he said, putting his hand on the small of her back to guide towards her house.

Although both had a sense of relief within them that they made up, both were sad about the fact that they were about to spend months apart from each other. They were going to miss each other like crazy. The two gathered Carrie's things and the dogs on the tour bus before they stood outside the tour bus door, just the two of them.

"I guess this is it then, huh," Mike said, slipping his hands into his pockets.

Carrie reached for the back of his neck, running her fingers through his brown hair. "I'm gonna miss you."

"I'm gonna miss you more," he said, softly gripping her waist as he gently kissed her on the forehead. "I love you."

The blonde was nothing but taken back by his words and was not sure at first how to respond. She thought she had been in love before and she told that guy that multiple times, only to have her heart in shambles. This feeling that she had now with Mike was completely different, and she then found out love's true meaning. Soon, she finally came with the right words to say back before planting a kiss on his lips. "I love you, too."

"I'll call you later tonight," he told her.

"I'll be waiting," she smiled.

They shared one last kiss and one more moment basking in each other's arms before they finally took off their separate ways. The tour bus took off, and Carrie felt a single tear run down her face. She was sad to have to leave him, but it wasn't as bad as what she thought. She was going to see him again, and she had that to look forward to.
