Chapter 18

Maddie's POV

I woke up in the middle of the night, I sit straightly on my bed and just stare at the wall.

I flinch (a little) when the door suddenly opens.

Niall's POV

I secretly had a lunch with Molly, if Maddie knew about this, I'm sure that tomorrow, I'm already dead.

I slowly opened the door and Maddie is there, sitting on the bed, staring at the wall. She is like an apparition. She looks at me then look at the wall again.

"Maddie? Are you ok?" I asked.

"Yeah. I'm great." she replied. "How's the lunch with Molly?" I am surprised by the question she asked.

"How did you know?" I asked.

"Your phone." she replied.

"Look--"

"Its Ok." she said, then went back to sleep. Maybe she's just dreaming?

The next morning...

Maddie's POV

I woke up with a bright light reflecting on my face. I turn around too see that nobody is there.

"Niall?" I asked, no one answered. Maybe he's already downstairs.

I start taking a shower and quickly dress. I run downstairs.

"Good Morning!" everyone exclaimed. They are acting weird alright.

"Where's Niall?" I asked, taking a sit on the table and Liam already gave me a bowl of cereal.

"N-N-Niall?" they said.

"Yeah." I cock my eyebrow. "Is there something I don't know?" I asked.

"N-n-no." they shook there heads.

"Then where is Niall?" I asked.

"Nowhere." they answered.

I walk towards the window but they block my way. I push them away and peeked outside.

There's Niall, talking to Molly,

I opened the door and walk towards them.

"Hey!" I greeted.

"M-Maddie?" Niall stutters.

"Yeah, its me." I fake smiled. "Hi Molly!"

"Hey." she fake smiled.

"Maddie, let me--"

"Nah, its all alright." I said then walked away, once I enter the house. All eyes were on me. I grabbed my bag then walked towards the key rack for my car key.

I went out and Niall and Molly's eyes were on me.

"Maddie!" Niall shouted. I didn't look back.

"Maddie!" he suddenly grabbed my arm.

"What?!" I screamed. Tears are threatening to fall down my face but I bit my lip so that it prevent me from crying.

"I'm so sorry." he said, wiping the tears that is now falling down on my face. I shut my eyes, "Please look at me." he begged.

I shook my head, "Please, I'm very sorry." he begged.

I slightly opened my eyes and almost walked away but Niall grabbed my hand and spun me around and crashed his lips into mine.

I pushed him away but he tighten his grip into mine. I tried again until I gained all my power. I pushed really hard that he almost trip.

"We... You... I..." I stutters, I walked away and he followed me, leaving Molly behind.

I opened the door to my car and I shut it real hard, Niall slid in the passenger's seat, locking the door.

"I'm sorry Maddie." he said, hugging me. I cry harder and shook my head.

He decided he'll drive because I'm not on myself to drive.

"Maddie, I'm so sorry--"

"Niall, I don't need your explanation." I said, still crying.

"But talk to me when you decided to talk." he said.

I gather all my courage to ask this question, "Niall--"

I know :). I need to have some cliffhangers and I am still here at school, just writing this story in the bathroom :/.
