Chapter 25

Maddie's POV

Ok, so who will be my partner?!

"Maddie and.... Brandon!" Ms. Avery exclaimed.

I look at him and there's the stupid smirk on his face.

Trust me Brandon, I'll kick that stupid smirk off your face!

I didn't have the chance to hear whose the other people cause I'm busy thinking.

"Well, that's all." Ms. Avery dismissed us.

"Uhhh..." I groaned.

"What's up?" Bry asked, popping out of nowhere.

"Gosh! You almost scared the strawberries out of me!" I exclaimed.

"Strawberries?" he asked.

"Yep." I nodded.

"Hey! Wanna grab a coffee?" he asked.

"Sure but first let me go to my locker." I smiled as he followed me also.

I grab that stupid box and I realize, that I haven't open it yet since I got it.

"What's that?" he asked, pointing to the box.

"Oh nothing. Just stupid box." I lied. I really don't wanna talk about it.

Since I don't have my car with me, I'll just walk.

"Hop in." Bry said, opening his car door for me.

"Oh. Thanks." I smiled and hopped in.

There was a complete silence between us and I can't help but to look at the window.

"Something bothering you?" Bry asked.

"Yeah. About the box. It is from Brandon and he wanna go out with me." I rolled my eyes.

"Are you going or not?" he asked.

"He's gonna blackmail me so, I'm going." I smiled.

"Oh well. Here we are." he said.

He opened the car door and led me to the coffee shop.

"What you want?" he asked.

"The usual." I smiled and went away to find our table.

I place the box on top of the table and stare at the window for awhile, and you won't believe what I saw, Niall and Molly entering the coffee shop we are in now.

"Maddie?" Bry smiled, holding two cups.

"Hey." I smiled, nervously I might add.

"What happened?" when he stare outside on what I am staring, he realize that there's Niall and Molly.

"Would you like to go home now?" he asked, looking worried.

"No, if one can play this game I'm in." I smirked.

"Oh well. Hey! You're not yet opening the box." he frowned. Wow! This guy is desperate to see what's inside.

I slowly put up the lid and found a black strapless dress with black strapless shoes and black pumps. There's also a small box and a letter.

"Read the letter first!" he exclaimed.

I cough and slowly open the letter.

Dearest Maddie,

I have in here a strapless shoes and a black pumps, its your choice to pick there. This things in here are yours ;)... See yah at 10 sharp, I'll pick you up! Bye!
