Of all the things I've felt, not many
yet, I think coming into existence is the weirdest. I wasn't necessarily born just created in a rather dark realm... It was like waking up from a really long sleep. I emerged from some sort of portal and looked around me at the others like me. Only.. They were different. I was a foot shorter than everyone around, and they all had skin that resembled looking into an endless black void. The eyes of the others drifted down to me, staring with intensely glowing purple gazes. I wasn't sure what to think until they started speaking. Some would comment on my height. Others on the colour of my eyes. Eventually I was surrounded by a mass of eight-foot tall dark figures with glowing purple eyes. Enemies..? No, they aren't hurting me.. Friends? Maybe.. But they're pretty rude. Possibly family.. Looking down at my hands they're the same as the others, and my skin is as much of a void as theirs.
After a while, they disperse and leave me alone- teleporting out of my sight in small clouds of purple sparks, or just walking off to focus their piercing attentive gazes on other things. I look up to the sky, seeing that it's a deep purple colour with stunningly sparking white dots scattered throughout. The name of what they are comes to my mind.. Stars.. I'm unsure how I know what they are, but what I do know is they're gorgeous. I like the stars already.

Wandering around the area we're in,
the more I see, the more I know. Names of objects coming into my mind just by looking at them. I want to look at as many things as I can.. But all that's on what I've discovered is a floating hunk of 'end stone'. The figures that were near me, endermen. Though no matter who I ask, they can't give me a straight answer what sex they are. All of them know the differences between male and female, and yet none of them can identify theirself as either. Eventually, I ask one of the other endermen what's wrong with my eyes, remembering how they were commented on more than once when I first emerged. They look me over before informing me that my eyes look to be a darkly glowing mix between blue and purple. They inform me that this colour is 'indigo' and say that it's abnormal for an enderman to be such a colour. Even my sparks are indigo, they say.
"So what does that mean for me?" I ask anxiously, fearing being outcasted or worse.
"You will eventually be removed from the End. You are an enderman, technically, but you are not like us." They inform me grimly
"You're already beginning to change to a new skin colour before my very eyes."
I freeze, looking down to my hands. They're slowly turning from pitch black to a caramel tan colour, spreading up my arms and legs.
"You look like one of the humans, so send yourself to the human world and stay there. You will find yourself accepted easier in their realm, Indigo." The enderman says, turning and leaving me alone.

I stand in one place, watching as the new skin tone creeps along my body like a virus for what feels like an eternity. Eventually, I take one last look at the end realm and the stars, before focusing on getting myself to the human world. I close my eyes, and when I open them again, I'm surrounded by towering brown pillars topped with swaying red and orange bushes composed of millions of similarly-shaped pieces.
The word trees comes to my mind, and I decide that must be what they are. I'm surrounded by dull green on the floor, grass, and brown patches where the grass felt it wasn't necessary to grow. Dirt. The air is chilled and crisp, flowing through the rustling forest in small, frequent gusts of wind.

Glancing down at my body, I see that I'm now entirely caramel coloured. I look at the features that have been uncovered with my change in skin. Muscles and marks, unmentionables and details to places you wouldn't expect. The only thing that causes discomfort is the unmentionables.. I don't want them uncovered, and I don't even want them in general. I start searching around for something to hide them with, finding a break in the trees and foliage where a small wooden building sits. Perfect. I take long strides to the building, finding that compared to it, I'm fairly tall. The other endermen would be able to touch the roof.

Moving around the side of the building, I eventually find the door. It doesn't look like anyone is currently inhabiting the house, but maybe I'll get lucky and find some sort of cover. I lift the door away from the frame, tearing it off its hinges and leaning it on the wall before entering the semi-darkness. I'm greeted by a freezing cold floor hitting my bare feet and sending shivers through my whole body. I sprint from the room, tripping over a few large lumps on the floor and slipping in sickly sticky puddles before I reach a room with a soft floor that greets me warmly. Only now do I realize the entire house smells musty and foul. My nerves spike as I shuffle quickly through the house, finally finding a room with a closet full of clothing.
I drag out a thick black piece of fabric, finding that it has an attached half-circle above the head hole and two draw-strings. This time I have to focus to figure out what it is, but I eventually realize it's called a hoodie. I search a while longer before setting out the hoodie, a pair of dark grey pants, the necessary undergarments, and some black high-top shoes that say 'Converse All-Stars' on them. The pants end up stopping a bit short of my ankles, so I tuck them into the converse. But luckily for me, everything else seems to fit as intended.
Once I've left the room, I make my way back through the cold-floored area. This time being careful to avoid the sickening puddles and large masses on the floor which now have outstretched thinner parts. I make it back outside, replacing the door where it belongs and then quickly leaving the area. The house made me anxious and uncomfortable, I wanted to get out sooner rather than later. Back in the chilly forest, I start making my way in a random direction. I can't teleport anywhere since I know nothing about the human world.. All I know about is where I teleported in, and the eerie cabin.
I walk in a random direction, not knowing where I'm going and not really caring either. I pass by plenty of things I've never seen before, their names coming to mind. Some easier than others- it took me five minutes to know 'robin' while the word 'bird' came almost instantly when watching a few fly gracefully through the sky. After a few hours, the sun is low in the sky and the trees start to thin out. Eventually, I'm walking through an open field with only the darkening sky above me and the endless grasses stretched all around. I pick up my pace, unprepared to face what might lurk in the darkness of the vast planet.
In the quickly fading light, I see lights in the distance. Lots of lights, all grouped up together and illuminating what seems to be a large group of buildings. A town. Maybe a city. I start running, determined to get there.

A month of living on the streets later, I've made a pretty bad living by stealing what I need to get by. With the addition of a black mask base and two indigo rectangles for eyes. The mask was only necessary so people can't see my face.. I can feel them staring at me. Staring through me. Watching my facial expressions and eyes and everything about me. It makes me uncomfortable.
The day seems to have been going on forever. Slow and freezing, thickly clothed people passing by my bench where I've set up the few things I've got. At one point, when the sun was high up in the sky, but shaded by thick snow-filled clouds, a man approached me. His hair was black and red, one side coloured black and short and the other side a bit longer and red. The side that had red hair was badly burned.
"Hey. You." He said, voice rough and strong. "You've been sitting here for almost a month. You homeless?"
He didn't look like the type to care, but he did ask..
"Yeah, I guess homeless is a way to put it.."
"Need a place to stay?"
"... I've been doing pretty ok out here. Why, are you offering..?"
"I've been looking for a good set of people.. People I can rely on.. Who don't have much to lose."
"What for?"
"........ I can only really tell you if you join. But there are others like you.."
"I strongly doubt it. But ok.. I'll take you up on the offer."
He nods and then motions for me to follow- so I get up quickly, grabbing anything important, and follow him towards whatever the hell kind of plans he's got for me. On the way, I learn his "name" is Red. He's got a group of other colour-nicknamed people.. And God does he have some big plans.

If I figure out how to phrase what happened next, I'll definitely take it upon myself to add a second (and possibly third) part. However long it takes~
•Also. I hope everyone's doing well ^^
