Once upon a time, there was a wolf-person. The wolf-person was super pretty, but even better- she had an amazing personality and sense of humor. Everyone loved Wolfie, and vice versa.
By the way- her name was literally Wolfie.
(Very creative parents)
Even though Wolfie loved everyone, she still felt lonely..
One day, Wolfie found a girl sitting alone beside a pond. The girl seemed sad, so Wolfie sat next to her and asked what was wrong.
The girl told Wolfie she had no friends, so, wolfie offered to be her friend.
The girl's eyes lit up and she happily agreed, thanking wolfie for her kindness.
Wolfie asked the girl's name and she said her name was Feli. Or Felicity. But she preferred the nickname Feli.
Wolfie said both of Feli's names were beautiful, watching as the girl's eyes lit up again.
Feli seemed very happy to have someone with her to keep her company, and Wolfie was happy to have a new friend.
But something felt strange about the friendship, Wolfie had a feeling deep in her heart and stomach.. Something she hadn't felt before.
She liked the feeling..
Little did she know, Feli had the same feeling.
Weeks passed, then weeks turned to months and months turned to years. Feli and Wolfie became better and better friends, the strange feeling growing the more they got to know each other.
One day, Wolfie and Feli were lying in the grass by the same pond they had met at. Wolfie gathered all her courage and looked over at Feli.
"F-Feli..?"
"Yeah?"
"I.. I have this weird feeling when I'm with you. I don't feel it around anyone else and... And I don't know how to explain it- but you make me really happy!"
Feli smiled, telling Wolfie that she had the same type of feeling. The two thought about it for a while, but neither could figure out what to call the feeling.
The two scooted a bit closer, holding hands and immediately feeling their faces warm. Looking at each other, Feli and Wolfie noticed bright pink on the other's face.
Feli had a realization upon seeing the pink on Wolfie's face.
"Wolfie.. I think I know what this is."
Wolfie sat up in interest, "You do? What is it?"
"It.. It's called love.. I think.."
The blush on both girl's faces darkened at the realization.
Wolfie searched for something to say, finding herself speechless for the first time in forever.
Feli looked down at her hand, still holding Wolfie's. "I think I know what to do.."
"What do we do, then..?"
Looking into Wolfie's eyes, Feli started to lean a bit closer.
Wolfie realized what Feli was doing and started to lean forwards too.
They hugged.
They hugged for a while, both loosing sense of the time. The feeling had been figured out.. They could both move somewhere from here... ... Somewhere...
At the same time, Feli and Wolfie leaned back. Looking at each other.
"So.." Said Feli, flustered like never before. "What now?"
"I think people normally... Uh.. Date..? That's a thing, right?"
"I believe so, yes."
Neither had an idea of how people started dating, so Wolfie stood up. Bringing Feli up with her.
"W-Wolfie? What are you.."
Wolfie got down on one knee. "Don't worry, I've seen people do this before.."
"Okay.."
"Feli, will you date me?"
Feli nodded nervously. "Yes."
"Oh! Wait I forgot a part.."
Wolfie reached down into the grass and plucked a flower from the ground, curling it into a circle around Feli's ring finger.
"There, perfect."
Wolfie stood up and smiled at Feli. "Ok, so they have a really weird part now.."
"Huh? What is it..?"
Wolfie pointed at her lips and then Feli's. "They put their lips together and go 'mmmwwwaaahhh' Really loudly."
"What? That's weird."
"Yeah, but I see my parents do it, so it means love!"
"Oh.. Ok. So do we do that?"
"If you want to."
Feli nodded, showing that she was ok with it. The girls started leaning towards each other again, nervous, excited, and curious all at once.
Wolfie and Feli gently placed their lips together, both silent at first.
Feli's eyes were wide, her face deep red with blush.
Wolfie had her eyes closed, mimicking what she had seen a few times before.
The two stayed like that for a bit, Wolfie almost forgetting the most important part.
"Mmmwwaaaaahhhh!" She said, lips still against Feli's.
The loud, sudden noise caused Feli to jump in surprise, letting out a small squeak.
The girls pulled away from each other, Feli looked flustered while Wolfie looked extremely excited.
"S-so what now..?" Feli stuttered after a few moments of silence.
"I'm not sure.." Wolfie said, trying to think. "I've never seen what happens after they ask that and do the lip-touch."
"Oh.. Well I guess we'll find out eventually, yeah..?"
Wolfie smiles and nodded "Yeah! And until then, we're dating now. So we can say 'I love you' to each other! Like mum and dad do!"
"Oh. Ok.. I... I love you!" Feli blurted out.
"I love you too, Feli." Wolfie said happily.
The two then held hands and Wolfie began to lead Feli away from the pond where they met.
Another few years passed and Feli and Wolfie continued their relationship. They learned as they went by getting information on dating from friends and family.
They would visit the pond every Saturday and just lie in the grass together. Their life was good. And they both loved each other with all their hearts.
People who saw them said they were the perfect couple and they really were.
Eventually, when they were old enough, Wolfie proposed to Feli- and in the same as when she asked Feli to date her. Everyone was very happy for them- and they were happy to finally be together for real.
