Do you have a monster on your back? Does it suck away your emotion? Does it eat away at your being? Can you feel it press on your chest sometimes? Or can you feel it slowly constricting you? Can you feel anything at all anymore or has it numbed you completely..?
How big is it? Or how small? How long has it been here? Or short..? Does it have a colour or a name? Do you even know why it's here, or did it appear randomly one day..?
Did you know other people have monsters just like yours..? Because they do. And I have something to tell you about that monster of yours.. I'm sure it feels like it controls you, but I assure you that it doesn't. It's an uninvited guest. It isn't you. You can't let this monster be in charge of you. Try to remember a time when you were yourself, not the embodiment of it.
