I opened my eyes just enough to see a dull light. I sqwinted and slowly became familair with the light. I looked around the large room and noticed I was in the exact middle. I moved a bit to see my surroundings, when I felt restaint. I looked down to see myself in a bind, literaly. Aparently they tied me up in ropes. I looked around and saw boxes, gates, shovels, tools. I guessed I was in a maintenace/storage area. I tugged at the ropes with all my might. No luck. I looked for the team, my bow, anything. All of a sudden, I heard a voice behind me. The one word sent a shiver down my spine.

"Suprise!"

"What did you do to them?" I asked irritated

"Who? Your 'friends'?"

"What do you want Zac?"

"Well, I thought you'ed never ask." he said with a grin

He walked up in front of me. He was wearing a black S.T.E.A.L suit. It had his ranking on his shoulder and pockets everywhere. His belt was equiped, heavily with ammo, grenades, knives, you name it! He had heavy black combat boots and baggy pants. He was taller and skinnier. He had his hair combed back with the sides shaved, like a military haircut.

"I want power, respect, value."

"Well, why did you..."

"Join S.T.E.A.L?" he finished my sentence

He walked heavy, with hands behind his back, like he was disapointed.

"After you abondoned me in the collapsed building, I was alone. I was a cook, not a fighter. I had no means of protection. I was scared, tired. Then they found me, S.T.E.A.L had made me their number one priority. As soon as I arrived at HQ, I was welcomed and was given the honor of commanding the armed, imperal forces. They treated me with respect and cared about me, unlike you. You only wanted me so you could get a few free meals."

"That wasn't it..."

"You didn't look for me! If I was your brother, would you not look out for me?! No, instead you walked away, just beacuse it was easier!"

"No, that's not like it at all! The building was unstable and could've come down at anytime. We couldn't risk the lives of many for just one." I stumbled to find the words

"I trained," he ignored me, "I trained and worked through blood, sweat and tears. My fellow teammates helped me through it. I worked day to day finding poor lost souls and showed them the right way. I helped join others into our just organation."

"Don't you see?! They've manipulated you! This isn't you! You are a small boy, who loves cooking. His favorite colour is blue, his eyes are brown. His parents names are Susan and Robert King and he plays soccor. He gets great grades and is horrible in social events."

"Shut up!" he almost whispered

"Remember that time when we watched that movie in the theater? You were the one who started a popcorn fight at the end of the end of the movie, and got us all kicked out."

"Shut up!" he said louder

"You started by throwing popcorn in my mouth and missed me. It hit somebody else and then it turned into an all out fight. Eversince that night you always loved food fights."

"Shut up!" he yelled kicking some crates, "I don't know that person anymore!"

He picked me up and for a second I thought he was going to throw me. He inhaled and then put me down. I exhaled with relief.

"That's not why I'm here though." he said cracking his knuckles, "I want you to surrender."

"What do you mean? You have me, don't you?"

"I want all of your team to surrender, I want the Defendant to give up. We have obviously won the battle. We want to end this war. We want a peaceful negotiation that won't end in blood-shed."

"What war?"

He chuckled and then sighed. He leaned up against some creates, then came over.

"Over four months ago, the city was split. A civil war started. West side, East district? Ring a bell?"

I felt something important. It hung in my sock. It was my spare knife. I nodded answering his question, and not letting him notice the knife.

"Good. Now we had the most organized, populated and sophisticated army. But there was only one problem. We had no weapons. We couldn't become an army if we were unarmed. We would fight for power, but we needed weapons. We looked through all the stores, homes and army bases, but they were all raided of weapons. We offered all the sides a truce, but none agreed. But one was realy close."

"Who's side was it?"

"Yours."

He let me soak it all in and get angry at him.

"Surrender."

"Never!" I yelled

"Well then prepare for war!" he smiled

I heard the door open behind me and his footsteps stop.

"Oh, and you forgot something."

I heard a paper ball roll to my feet. I picked it up, unrolled it and threw it in front of me so I could see it. It was a picture of me, and my family at miami beach. I gave it to him, just before the incident.

"See you later; Brother." he said as the door slammed behind him

I sat there staring at the picture, weeping. I wiped away my tears and then planned my escape.
