We all started to walk towards Base in a rush.

"What do you think this is about?" Blain asked

"I honestly don't know." I said truthfully

I wondered myself what was going to happen. An emergency? What kind? How bad? I wanted answers and so did everyone else. We wanted an explaination.

"What Base? What's happening." Sydney the new girl asked

"You know the Grown-Ups? The Zombie things? Well we were sent to destroy them!" John explained

"Is this a joke?" She laughed

"No! The Zombie things that have been in the city for four months were our parents!" John insited

"Uh-huh. Zombie things, right!" She said sarcatically

"You mean you haven't seen a Grown-Up?" Leah asked, "Somebody had a happy four months."

"Your lucky!" Rose said

"Yeah well our Home Base that sent us on the mission is calling us to save the world and stuff!" John added

"Yeah, your crazy." She said

"Am I?" He asked as we arived at the doors

We all stared at the arena. Right about this time of year, the rink would be filled with ice, but we changed it into a base, so that ice isn't going to be there anytime soon. We walked through the doors and instantly, memories, and flashbacks hit me. I shock the thoughts out of my head as we were greeted by Johnathan.

"Hello, it's nice to see you again." he said rolling up in his wheelchair

"Good to see you too." I said smiling

"So what's the emergency?" Blain asked

"Well that's what I need to see you about. Follow me." he said

We walked through the halls and corridors. I watched as doors passed by. It was a labryith of concrete, twisting and turning, making it impossible to navigate. We passed through so many doors and hallways, it felt like it was a never-ending maze. Then we arived at a door with a few people waiting around it.

"We need to have a meeting." he said, "Commitee members, and only commitee members are welcome."

Leah walked ahead of me through the doorway and Blain followed me. I stopped him before we got in.

"Sorry Blain commitee only."

"But..."

"Don't worry, I suspect they have a reason." I said walking in shutting the door behind me

"Okay, Let's get down to buisness. I've called you all here for a special code red, yellow alert, level 7." Johnathan said

I heard some gasps in the room and everyone leaned in closer. Level 7 is quite bad. The scale is 1-10, 10 being the worst. Our last war with Grown-Ups was a level 8.

"Why such a bad number in such a good time?" one boy asked

"Well as you know, there hasn't been alot of Grown-Ups lately, so we cut down on defences. We had less random patrols and we cut down the amount of people on our barricade." Johnathan started, "We under estimated the enemy and they broke through. A few have gotten out. We don't know how contagious the virus is yet so we arn't going to asume that it's the end of the world. They broke through the south gate and are heading for the U.S.A. They haven't gotten far but the search expands by the minute. I want those Grown-Ups found and killed!"

Silence filled the room.

"You heard me! Move!" he yelled

We all got up in a hurry and left the room. My group instantly swarmed.

"What happened?"

"What was that about?"

"Yeah, was it a real emergency or did they run out of cream for coffee again?" Blain asked

I looked around the room to see the others were telling their groups so I decided it wouldn't be bad if I did.

"Grown-Ups broke the barrier. It's our job to stop them before they hit more citys and spread the disease! If we don't do it in time the world as we know it could end."

The group looked at me as if I had an alien on my head. THey stood there, looked at each other and the laughed.

"This isn't a joke! I heard it too! I am part of the commitee." Leah said

The group stopped and gulped.

"John I want the gadgets and our weapons we stored away in your workshop. Rose I want you to call the rest of the team up! Tell them to rondevouz at the front of the base. Get ready to expect the unexpected!" I said

"This mission is...weird..." John said

"It's stupid..." Sydney said

"It's impossible!" I whispered
