I pushed the double doors aside and walked in proudly. I made sure my sunglasses were in place, my hat was on and coat was buttoned. The first thing I noticed was that the beautiful red and gold lobby, had been turned into a security checkpoint. The front desk on my left had been transfromed into a personality check, where they check your identification. It had card scanners, computers and two employees ready for work. Beside that in the middle of the hallway was a metal detector, with a boy beside it, reading a magazine and wearing a guard's hat. On the far, right wall stood two more boys, arms crossed, leaning against the wall and talking. I looked beyond the metal detector to see the elevator at the end of a granite hallway with pillars running along the sides. I looked beside me at John and then Blain.

"Please walk through the detector, then you're friend will go, and so on. Once you are all through I will have to rummage through the duffle bag." the boy said as we came to the detector

I nervously, but bravely walked through the empty doorway and an alarm immediatly sounded. All the guards stopped talking and looked my way. I swallowed the lump in my throat and started to second-guess myself.

"Please remove any keys, jewlery or metalic objects. If you have a pacemaker, or any other medical condition please tell us and clarify."

I opened my coat to reveal the three sets of guns, bow and arrows, and all my other weapons. The boy just stood there in shock, jaw open and unable to speak. I pulled my set of SCORPIONS faster than a cobra would strike and pointed them at the guards. Their hands went up and I moved a gun to the side, guesturing that I wanted the people at the desk to move over to were the guards were. A girl and a boy, with hand above their head moved away from te desk and over to the wall with the three guards.

"Hands up, and face the wall. You try anything funny and you'll get it." I said

They all did as I instructed and lined up against the wall. I looked around the room and saw nothing, but I heard something faint. Then it came to me. There were three people at the front desk when I came in. I knew that there must have been someone behind the desk.

"Blain, cover me." I said starting to tip-toe over to the desk

All of a sudden Blain took his coat and placed it over me. I took it and threw it off.

"What are you doing?" I yelled in a whisper

"You told me to cover you."

"Not with a coat! Just go over and watch them and make sure they don't escape." I said frustrated

I walked over to the desk and peeked over. There was the third one. The boy was whispering into one of the phones and stopped as soon as he spotted me. I grabbed him by the collar and yanked him up. I kept a firm grip and looked him in the eye.

"Who were you talking to? What did you say?" I said raising him a bit off the ground

He grabbed my arm and held firmly onto it, to prevent himself from choking.

"They said that they would come. They're bringing backup. The whole squad." the boy said fearfuly

"Who?" Blain asked

"Johnathan's most skilled death squad."

"Blain what are you doing here?" I asked annoyed

"Blain let them all go." John said

I was so mad, but I didn't have time to get into a fight with him.

"Then who's guarding Johnathan?"

"His most deadly, servant; Zac."

My nerves went crazy at the sound of my brothers name. Anger and fear welled up inside me. The name echoed in my ear.

"How will I know who he is?" Blain asked

"He'll be the one shooting at you." The boy said

"Is he a good shot?" Blain asked

"I hope so." John said

Blain gave him a dirty look and then focused back onto the boy. I heard the small, faint ding that the elevator made when it reached a new floor. I lowered him to the ground and then let him go.

"Get out of here." I sneered

He burst out of the building with a tremendous amount of energy. I heard the mechanical bell sound again and ran over to the hall with the elevator at the end of it. I rolled behind a pillar and Blain hid behind one on the oppisite end of the hall. John stood beside the desk with the duffle bag with the explosives in it. He powered up the suit and the armor started to cover him up again. I took out my two SCORPIONS and made sure they were loaded.

"Hey, Blain how many guys did he say were in the death squad?" I asked

"He didn't say."

I swore under my breath. How would we now how many to expect? I just hoped that we would be able to handle it.

"Blain you're going to have to be fast." I said

"You're saying that to a guy that caught an arrow in mid-air, you know." John  said

I heard the small faint ding sound for the last time and hid behind the pillar of granite. At last I heard the mechanical whir of the doors opening. Ready, aim, fire!
