I Found An Autobot

Ivory Willows:

So it's Friday and I just got back from school. I completed my homework and went to the lake near the house. My favorite spot.

I didn't have to turn around to know that Drift was coming up behind me. Tomorrow was my birthday, I'd be turning an exciting 15.

Tessa was still at college, it's her last year though. She was 26 now and became a doctor.

Why a doctor? Who knows.

"Hey Drift." I said with a warm smile.

"Ivy, what are you doing out here alone?"

"Just relaxin'. Finished homework and had nothing else to do. Where are the others? "

"Back at base still. They found some recent decepticon actvity recently."

"Oh. The base base? Not here right? "

"No they are not here. " He said.

I paused for a moment. "Shouldn't you be with them? "

"They have it covered. Things are just hectic without Prime around. I don't believe the team will ever be the same until he returns. "

"Yeah. I wonder what happened to him. I miss him. " I said looking up at the white fluffy clouds in the sky. Drift nodded.

"Has there been any word from the dinobots? "

He shook his head. I sighed. I haven't seen or heard from them in forever. Sometimes I wondered if they we're even still alive...

No. What was I thinking? Of course they are. They're  just out there somewhere. Doing their own thing. Being free.

I cleared my throat. "So, what have you been doing? "

"Just polishing my katana's. " He said as a matter of fact.

"Again? Dude, you need some new hobbies. "

"Hah. Because yours are so much better than mine? " He retorted.

"Yes. They are. " I said crossing my arms with a smirk.

"Oh yeah, like what? "

"Like art, singing, being able to repair cybertroinians, like you. Ya know, because I've had to repair you like a billion times. "

".... it was only twice. "

"Three times actually. "

"No. It was twice. "

"It's three times man I'm telling you. I remember every time. "

"Alright what do you remember then? "

I laughed. "The first time was when we first met I fixed you up, the second time was right after the first encounter we had with Lockdown and the third was only days after the final fight with Lockdown. "

I started laughing harder as Drift pouted. His pout turned into a smirk and he picked me up. My laughter slowly died into a nervous chuckle as he held me above the lake, it was late fall and the water was pretty cold. I held onto his hand.

"Ummm hey Drift, you know you're the best... smartest, strongest, and most amazing bot ever. Right? "

His smirk only grew..... My eyes went wide.
