I ran down the halls searching for my mother. I remembered seeing a picture of her before. She should look the same, right?

I saw another endless room of cages and entered. I examined each cage carefully. Bodies piled in the corners... as I passed a darker one, someone leapt at the cage and reached for me.

It was a guy. He coughed, and fell to the ground. "Help.. me please.. "

He mumbled. I froze. That voice.. "Ohh my god. Alex...?! "

I came closer, lifting his face and I was right. It was indeed Alex.

Ivy... " He mumbled. I pulled on the bars, but they didn't come loose. He looked up at me.

"I came to see you. You were dying... I helped Casey... is he alive? "

"Yeah. He's alive. We both are. We're okay. Thanks to you. " I said taking his hand through the bars.

"I didn't get you guys home safely. I didn't do anything. " He said lowly.

"If it weren't for you, we'd be dead. I think that counts for something, Alex. "

He gave a small chuckle and I backed up. "Stand back. "

"What're you doing? " He asked as he did so.

"Getting these doors open. " I summoned the ax again. I brought it up and swung down as hard as I could. The lock broke, letting the door open slightly. Alex pushed it open and stepped out.

I smiled. I was suddenly in a bone crushing hug from him. "Thanks.."

He mumbled. His hand on my waist and the back of my head. I smiled, bringing my arms around him too. He looked down at me, and tilted my head up with his hand on my chin.

"Look at that. I was supposed to be the one saving you. Now you're the one saving me. "

He chuckled. I smiled. "Well you saved me first so... call it even. "

He laughed quietly.

Next thing I know, he's kissing me. It was...

"HEY! How'd you get out?! Someone get Megatron! " A voice called. We jumped at the man's sudden yell. Alex growled and took him down, knocking him out easily.

"Alex! Enough! " A deep voice called. I looked to see a very big and extremely buff  man.

"Enough of this. Why fight me? I'm your father! "

That was his dad...?

Alex clenched his fists. "You betrayed me. You told me I was saving people! All those civilian rescue missions! They were just so you could bring people back to Megatron to kill in his experiments! "

His father remained still. "Maybe. But I've only ever did it for you! "

"No you didn't. " Alex retorted.

"Don't you get it?! Once Megatron takes over, every human will be killed! Unless we become them. "

"I won't do it. " Alex argues grabbing my wrist.

"You're not going anywhere. And neither is she. She is the key to it all. " His father glared at me.

"You won't touch her. " Alex said blocking his view of me. I felt small behind Alex... he was taller than me after all.

Alex pulled a gun on him. "Step aside. "

He demanded. His father did so. "You leave here, you'll never find your mother, Ivory. "
