I raced forward and climbed in through Optimus's opened drivers side window.

"We have to stop him! He's after Casey! "

I said loudly. My mother looked frantic. "What's going on? "

I looked at her and she had the look of sudden realization. "Wait. My- my son Casey?! He's- he's alive..! "

I took her hands. "Dad lied. Casey is very much alive. "

I said. She sobbed, taking her hands and covering her face. "I was told he died in childbirth. Why would he lie to me..? "

"Same reason he tried to kill him. He thought he was doing the right thing. "

"He tried to kill him!? " She yelled franticly.

"Mom easy! It's going to be okay. I'll save everyone. I promise. Dad isn't himself. He's a decepticon experiment. We should've taken precautions... I should've known. He thought he was doing the right thing... " I said sadly.

"Lying to me wasn't anywhere near close to doing the right thing. He let he believe for sixteen years that my son was dead. And now that he's alive he's out to kill him?! "

She panicked.

"No mom. Well... In his mind yes, but I think he was too afraid to do it. He found out Casey was still alive and there was just this.... this look in his optics. I could see that he was so happy to hear that he was alive. But the decepticons must've programmed something into his processor and bringing up Casey must've triggered it. It's not dad. It's the decepticons. "

"But it was him when he tried to kill him and told me he died in child birth, wasn't it? " She said, clearly angry.

"Yeah... that was him. He wanted to prevent this I guess. The end of the world. But luckily the decepticons took control. Well... not luckily but this means they're not going to kill him like dad originally attempted. " I said hopeful.

"What do you mean? "

"They won't kill him. He's going to take him to the decepticons so Megaton can destroy the planet. " My mother looked at me with wide eyes.

"But I'm not gonna let that happen. I promise I'll bring Casey and dad back. Just stay safe for now okay? The bots will protect you. "

I climbed out the window before she could protest. I heard her faintly calling out my name. I stood on the hood of Optimus's alt form. He raced the highway after Ironhide, the twins and my dad.

"Ivory be careful. Your father is still inside somewhere. If you can reach him, infuse this into his spark! " He called out. A small vile with strange orange contents popped out. I took it and nodded.

I whistled and in came Venture. I jumped, grabbing onto his metal armor and heaved myself up. "Go Venture hurry! "

I urged. He did so, taking off at high speeds. My mom watched everything with eyes the size of earth itself. Venture flew directly above Ironhide, who was dodging attacks from my dad in his alt form. He had a long scratch along the passenger side. Casey was desperately clinging to the interior in fear. I whipped out my phone, calling him. "Come on Casey, come on. Pick up already! "

I muttered.

"Ivy! Ivy what's going on?! Why is he attacking!? Isn't he our dad? " He asked.

"I know. I know. But he's not dad right now. Just listen to me carefully okay? "
