Escape Attempt 1

"It's getting harder to breathe! " Casey exclaimed, puffing our fast hot breaths.

"I know, take a break kid. Catch your breath. "

I said removing another rock. He flopped down on the ground next to his unconscious sister. He moved a piece of hair from her face. Her head moved slightly towards him.

"What about you? " He asked.

"What about me? " I said, my strained as I pulled on a larger rock.

"Aren't you going to take a break? "

"I'm- "

I stopped when there was a rumble that echoed along the walls. Casey stood up warily looking around. The wall of boulders in front of me suddenly caved in and exploded, throwing me backwards.

"Alex! " Casey yelled. I stood up with my gun ready just incase. Red eyes shone through the hole.

"Oh. Well hello there~ "

"Damn it. You again? "

"Who else would it be~ "

"Anyone but you. I was hoping you were crushed. Guess I'll just have to take you down after all. " I said.

"Ooh, I'd like to see you try~ "  He rammed into the wall creating a larger hole. He was here now and slammed his hand down in an attempt to squish me. I threw myself out of the way and rolled to the side.

I stood in front of Casey and his awaking sister. "Keep her down and calm! She has serious injuries. If they get any worse she could die. "

"I- but- Yeah okay! "

I faced the robot with a glare. He was crouched since he couldn't stand fully. I grabbed my bag and grabbed the bomb. "You have a bomb?! "

Casey exclaimed.

"Of course I do. "

"Why?! "

I chuckled. "You never know when you might need one! "

I yelled running at the alien. I jumped away from his swatting hand and went back up the cables on his arm. I shoved the bomb in his shoulder and slid back down his arm, falling straight down once I reached his elbow. I landed on the ground painfully and backed away with a slight limp.

The bomb went off sending the alien he hit ground with a pained and very angry yell.

"No more games human! I'll kill you!! " He came full speed. I grabbed Casey and tried to protect him and Ivy in some way but Ivy was gone...!

She was walking towards him as he charged at us. "Ah! There you are little girl~ "

The robot paused.

"Ivory! No!! " I yelled holding Casey back from chasing after her.

"I'm gonna get ya~ "

Ivy stopped and he abruptly froze in front of her. His hand was raised to make the final blow but it hung in the air like nothing. His expression changed and I looked back at Ivy.

She had my machete in front of her, but aimed at her own chest. She held the blade and pushed down slightly. The alien's eyes darkened to black and then lit up a glowing blue. "I-Ivy..."

His voice was different. It was pained, lighter and with a full accent. "N-no... I- don't... "

"Drift please... fight him... you have to..." She spoke quietly. Somehow, the sight of her killing herself... pulled him out of whatever trance he was in. I guess she was right when she said he wasn't exactly evil. His eyes flashed back to red then blue. "Fight! "
