Waking Up

I woke in a dark room. I stretched under the soft warm covers and sighed deeply. I opened my eyes and noticed a small stream of light coming through the window.

I placed my feet on the cool hardwood floors and shuffled my way to the window. I opened the curtains and was temporarily blinded. I used my hand as a shield. Only then did I realize I was in my own room. But we were several states away from home just yesterday...

"How didwe get here.... how long.... how long was I out for? "

I asked myself aloud. The door opened and a startled gasp was heard. Drift.

"Drift? " I said. He came forward, embracing me tightly.

"You scared me. " He breathed into my hair. I returned the hug as Bee, Ironhide, Sideswipe and Ratchet entered the room. Ironhide chuckled, leaning against the wall and crossing his arms. "Well kid. You are the only one capable of doing the impossible. "

I pulled away. "What's that? " I asked.

"Ending the war. "  He replied with a proud smile. My mouth went agape.

"Wha- what do you mean? How did I- "  A strange man walking behind Optimus entered my room. I didn't recognize him as any of the others in their holoforms.... "Who's- "

I paused. Optimus stepped away and I could see him clearly. "Oh my god. "

I said as I recognized the man. Tall, well built, longish white and black layered hair... and.. blue eyes.

"It's you. " I said letting out a breath. "Megatron? It's- it's you isn't it. "

I stepped forward. He nodded once in reply. I smiled big and closed the gap between us, embracing him. "I knew you could change. "

I said quietly. He was startled and unsure of what to do at first, Optimus lightly grabbed his arms and put them around me. Megatron made a small "o" with his mouth. As if saying he now understood.

Ironhide shook his head with a smile. "You did good kid. You did good. As angry as I was at first, I trust your judgment. And you were right. "

He said. I looked up and laughed. Megatrons hand lingered on my arm. He cleared his throat before swiftly putting it in his pocket. "Yes. I have... changed... as you say. "

"Thank you. " I said to him. He furrowed his brows in confusion. "For what? "

"For saving my life, duh. " I said. He nodded.

"Yes well. If I recall, you saved mine first. Twice. " He said leaning down into my ear. I smiled and shoved him lightly. "Maybe. But still, thank you. "

He grabbed my hand and brought it to his lips. He lightly kissed it lightly and smiled.

"It should be me thanking you. Those scraplets would have torn me to pieces without you. And removing the boulder up off my chest, any longer and it would've crushed my very spark. So I thank you, Ivory Willows. For saving my spark. "

He said, lowering our hands and intertwining them together. I nodded and noticed that all the others had cleared the room minutes ago...

"We should go downstairs. " I said. He nodded.

"Whatever you wish. " He said with a smirk. I walked into the hall with a smile. "Now that you're with- "

A bag was placed over my head and rough hands restrained me. I yelled out in surprise and thrashed against the person restraining me. "M-Megatron! Megatron?! "

It wasn't him doing this. I could tell it wasn't him. I called out to him for help, not in fear of him.

And I would've defended myself but I didn't have my bracelet. But... that bracelet... now that I thought about it.... I don't need it.

It doesn't define me.... it doesn't hold all of my strength... Yes, that bracelet has a lot of sentimental value and is an anchor but I can fight. I can fight and defend myself without it, just how Ironhide taught me. I took a deep breath.

I thrust forward and beset down, I swiped my leg under theirs and then shot up and elbow slammed the person behind me. They were on the floor and I pinned them down. I ripped the bag off my head and looked into the eyes of my attacker. "Starscream?! The hell?! "

I said shocked. Megatron came out with his arms crossed. "That was quite the show. Say Starscream, hows it feel to be beaten by a human child? " He snickered. I scoffed and released him. He hastily stood, stumbling for a moment before balancing himself. "You- why didn't you do anything!? She- she's vicious! She's terrifying! "

He exclaimed. I chuckled. "Don't mess with me screamy. I've been trained by Ironhide. " I said. He looked to Megatron with a horrified expression.

"You didn't tell me that! You knew that me that would happen. " He said. Megatron laughed.

"Yes well, I half expected it. Let me say, that was quite impressive. " He said looking at me. I sighed.

"Wait wait wait. So you planned that? " I asked. He nodded and came up behind me. He used his hands to cover my eyes. "Megatron what- "

"Shhh. Trust me. " He whispered. I nodded and let him lead me down the stairs slowly and then outside. I could feel the hot summer sun beaming down on my skin. He stopped.

"When I remove my hands, keep your eyes closed until I say, understand? "

"Yeah. " I said. His hands moved away and my eyes remained glued shut. I heard hushed whispers and short giggles. "Guys what's going on? Seriously this- "

I said but Optimus interrupted. "Hush young one. Everything is alright. Just keep your eyes closed until we give the word. " He said calmingly. I nodded and shifted on my feet nervously.

It got quiet.

"Guys? "

No response.

"You can open your eyes now. " Megatron said behind me. I opened my eyes and let them adjust to the bringing sunlight.

And the person in front of me made my heart beat out of my chest in excitement, relief, happiness....
