Good morning! So this is going to be intense. There will be so many perspective changes! I'm so, so, sooo sorry for any confusion!! Also, this chapter is a little bit short. Sorry about that, I promise that future chapters will be longer!

The Doctor's POV

"I'm here for a reason," The Master said calmly.

"What would that be?" I asked, clenching my jaw.

"Have you ever heard of The Key?" The Master asked. "It's more commonly known as Zero. It's said to hold every secret in the universe."

The colour drained from Zero's face. "That's a lie," she said shakily.

"What?" The Master demanded calmly.

"That's a lie," she repeated. "The Key is harmless. It doesn't hold that information."

"And how do you know that?" His eyes bore into her. She opened her mouth to speak, but no words would come out. The Master smirked as if he already knew why she knew about The Key. "So what are you going to do?" The Master continued, taking a step forward with his laser screwdriver in his hand.

"Oh, what I've always done," I said, dangerously calm. And then I shouted. "RUN!" And turned and ran, the other four following me. We'd made it about three meters when I heard someone cry out and hit the floor. I turned to see Zero curled up in pain on the floor, and The Master standing a few feet away  pointing his laser screwdriver at her.

"Isabel!" I shouted as The Master grabbed her by her hair and dragged her off the floor and pulling her into the room that he came from. She was too winded to cry out, and I tried to run towards her but someone was holding me back. I turned to see Nine with his hands firmly on my shoulders.

"It's not worth it," he said coldly.

"Yes it is!" Jack yelled and he bounded after them just barely making it through the closing doors.

I pushed Nine off me, shaking from rage. "WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU?!" I roared. "SHE'S NOT WORTH IT? SHE'S WORTH THE WHOLE UNIVERSE!" I was holding back tears now.

"We'll get her back!" Rose comforted me. "Jack will help her!"

And then I saw it. "No one move," I said suddenly.

"What?" Rose and Nine asked.

"No one move," I repeated. "And count the shadows."

Zero's POV

I was thrown to the floor, my body still shaking from the laser screwdriver. It had felt as if my insides were burning up and it hurt to breath.

The man had dragged me into the room he came from. It resembled a very posh living room, however, there was no furniture except a few chairs near the wall. The fireplace had no fire and was overflowing with ashes.

"Oh! What are you doing here?" The man with the screwdriver asked someone I couldn't see. I started to pull myself up and I saw Jack making his way towards me. The man pointed his laser screwdriver at him and Jack cried out, collapsing to the ground and losing consciousness. The man strode towards him and pulled a pair of handcuffs out of his pocket. He dragged Jack towards a chair next to the wall and cuffed him in the chair. And then he turned towards me.

"I'm The Master, by the way," he smiled sickly sweet. He pulled me up by the front of my shirt. "What's your name?"

"Isabel Rose," I replied, my voice shaking. At that he threw me backwards. I hit the wall behind me and crumpled to the floor and The Master yanked me off the ground once more.
