So the next few chapters are going to be really chill. There won't be anything too sad or enraging. But there will be lots of fluff and a new friend! Don't hesitate to give me suggestions! This chapter was inspired by and dedicated too izzyrxze
Thank you for the entire dialogue with our new friend, and I hope I portrayed him how you imagined.

Zero's POV

It was the perfect environment for sleep: cold outside of the blankets, and nice and toasty underneath them. I was still to groggy to open my eyes but I was to awake to go back to sleep. I rolled over towards the edge of the bed, yawning. And a pair of arms slipped around my waist and pulled me back so that the person was spooning me.

I immediately tenses up: I hadn't fallen asleep with anyone. And I began to realise that I wasn't in my cramped bedroom.

"What's wrong?" A gravely voice spoke softly against my neck.

I ripped myself out of their grasp, nearly falling off the bed.

He was absolutely gorgeous. His sleep ridden eyes were like two perfect orbs the colour of soil when it rained. His medium brown hair was tousled. He had a bit off stubble and he wore a faded graphic t-shirt and sweatpants. How had I ended up in bed with such a beautiful man?

His face filled with concern. "Zero, what's wrong?" He reached out to touch my face, but I flinched away.

"Where am I? Who are you?" I asked anxiously. "This isn't Gallifrey."

"Oh, sweetie-" he began.

"If I don't get back soon I'll be in so much trouble," I said shakily. "I-"

"Shhh," he comforted me, and I allowed him to pull me into a warm embrace. "Zero, sweetie, you're safe. Gallifrey is gone."

"What do you mean?"

"Zero, you've regenerated," he explained tenderly. "The process must have gone wrong and your memory has probably gotten blocked."

"Oh," I said quietly. "What do I do?"'

"You can't do anything," he answered flatly. But upon seeing my stricken expression he quickly added, "But I can."

"You can get my memories back?" I asked. "How?"

"Well, I just take down the block in your mind," he explained.

"How do you do that?"

His face became very serious. "I need to get very close to you. I need to kiss you."

"Oh... okay." I didn't mind kissing him.

He leaned forward, one hand cupping my cheek. Our lips met gently, but the kiss grew deeper and I snaked my arms around his neck and my hands into his fantastic hair. And then memories began flooding back. I remembered everything; the Tardis, The Master and my death, but most of all The Doctor. I remembered our adventures and waiting in the prison cell. And I remembered escaping the Timelords and the fall of Gallifrey.

We broke apart. "Better?" The Doctor asked.

"Yeah," I answered breathlessly. He was a very good kisser and it had caught me off guard. And now that my memories were back I realised that my mind could've been unblocked without us kissing, but I wasn't complaining.
