Michelle's P.O.V
Thalia: ouch!
Thalia hurt herself during the semi finals routine and she is in with the physio at the moment. A few minutes later the physio, called Mike, walks out.
Mike: it doesn't look good. She seems to have a fracture in the back.
Eldon: how is she holding up?
How sweet, he's concerned.
Mike: not good. She requested to see, Michelle?
Michelle: that's me!
Mike: go in.
Why does she want to see me? I question as I walk into the room.
Michelle: hi.
Thalia: hey.
Michelle: why did you want to talk to me?
Thalia: you're my alternate, right?
Michelle: right?
Where is she going with this?
Thalia: my partner in the dance is Eldon. Can I trust you?
Eldon? I used to like him. But I'm not sure anymore.
Michelle: you can trust me.
I think.

Miss Kate booked out the rehearsal room tonight so Eldon and I can practice our routine.
Eldon: no you're other foot.
At the moment I was trying to learn the partner part.
Michelle: like this?
I ask not sure about what I'm doing.
Eldon: yes! Now, we have to do a lift.
We haven't done one together for a while.
Eldon: do you trust me?
Michelle: yes.
We do the lift and it's just like old times. Uh oh. I think I like him!

Eldon: are you ready?
Michelle: yeah. I'm really excited.
MC: please welcome to the stage....... The Next Step!
The crowed went wild and we got into position, it was time.

We were called back on stage for judging and when they were telling us the scores I grabbed onto Eldon's hand like my life depended on it.
MC: the judges have tabulated their scores and................ It's a tie!
Michelle: what!?
Eldon: don't worry.
MC: each team will perform a duet to select a winner.
Eldon: see everything will be fine. James and Riley will win this for us.
He has a point. James and Riley work so well together plus they're inseparable. We will win!

We won! James and Riley's duet won us internationals! I hug Eldon for a while before pulling away.
Michelle: you were great through the whole competition.
Eldon: thanks, you were really good in the final.
Michelle: thanks.
I look at him and get lost in his blue eyes. I start to lean in and so does he, until...........
Thalia: congrats babe!
Thalia cuts in and kisses Eldon.
Eldon: thanks. Look, um, I've got to go talk to James and West, but, uh, good work Michelle.
As Eldon walks off he wipes his lips with the back of his hand.
Thalia: thank you for keeping your promise!
Michelle: you're welcome. Thanks.
For ruining my moment with Eldon.
