Noah's P.O.V

West brings me into the lotus room and puts a black piece of material over my eyes.

West: I will now prove my theory.

Suddenly I sense things being thrown at me and I start to catch them. Once I've caught them all I juggle them, because it's pretty easy to do.

Girls: wow, are you kidding?

I hear the girl's voices as West laughs and puts his arm around my shoulders.

West: all in favour for in.

I hear 5 pieces of material rub together and I think that's the girl's raising their hands.

West: and there it is!

West and I fist bump before Giselle speaks.

Giselle: okay, but we only have a dance for 5 not for 6.

I hear only one person raise their hand this time.

Stephanie: I'll back out.

I then hear two pairs of feet walking away, before there is a slight mumble that fills the room.

Michelle: listen guys, I'm the alternate for the team, I'll back out.

I guess that I'm now in the 5-person dance.

I'm ready.

Cierra's P.O.V

Sweden just made it through to the next round and their routine was amazing!

I'm really glad we aren't going up against them.

Noah is behind us and his practicing so I walk up to him.

Noah: hi Cierra.

Cierra: how'd you--- forget it.

Noah takes off his blindfold so we can talk.

Noah: what do you want to talk about.

Cierra: I'm nervous.

Noah: why?

Cierra: what if one of us fall off the stage? What if I fall off the stage?

Noah grabs my hands and looks into my eyes.

Noah: it'll be okay, I'll look after you, and the others. There will be nothing else on my mind except protecting you guys.

Cierra: thank you.

I say before giving him a quick hug and walking back over to the girls.

Announcer: ladies and gentlemen, please put your hands together for France!

I see the audience clap and I realise that we're up next.

I just hope we can win.

Chuck Anderson: next up is The Next Step, now keep in mind that mathematics does play a bit of a role. The Next Step will be featuring 5 dancers.

Ashley Leggat: that's right and this could either pay of huge for them or be a total disaster.

Now I realise how much depends on Noah now because we changed all of our choreo, just so he could be in the dance.

Stephanie: here goes nothings.

Noah: it ain't nothing.

Announcer: ladies and gentlemen, please put your hands together for, The Next Step!

The crowd cheers as we walk onto the stage.
We get into our positions and put on our blindfolds.

Here goes everything.

The dance is finished and we take off our blindfolds before walking to the middle of the stage.

There is a standing ovation as we take our bow.

Announcer: welcome back to the stage, France.

The crowd continues to cheer as we wait for the judge's decision.
It's so nerve-racking.

Announcer: and the winner, moving on to round 4 of 7 is.... The Next Step!

All the girls hug each other and I hug Noah.

Cierra: you did it!

I say letting go of Noah.

Noah: no, we did it.

We both smile and lean in before sharing a kiss. For a second I forget that I'm on stage until the crowd goes wild.

We pull apart before running off stage and getting showered with hugs from the rest of the team.

I'm so glad that we won!
