A/N this is set in the future.

Amanda looked at the pregnancy test with tears in her eyes. She was going to be a mother! Noah was going to be a father! What would he think? Would he leave her? So many thoughts were running through her head that she didn't even hear the door open and close.

Noah: Amanda! I'm home!
'
Uh. Oh. He can't see me like this!' Amanda thought. Quickly, she fixed up her make up, hid the test and rushed down stairs.

Amanda: Noah!

She screamed jumping into her arms and taking in the scent.

Noah: hey. What took you so long?
Amanda: never mind that. What took you so long?

Noah placed Amanda on the ground before he began to talk.

Noah: my flight got delayed and then they stuffed up baggage and the traffic was terrible.

Noah had been away with work so he hadn't seen Amanda for 2 weeks.

Amanda: can you come up stairs for a moment?

Yep, she was going to tell him.

Noah: sure let me just put something's away.

Amanda rushed up to the bathroom and slipped the pregnancy test in her back pocket. She then sat on the edge of their king sized bed until Noah came up.

Noah: what's up?
Amanda: please don't be angry.
Noah: why would I be angry?
Amanda: please don't leave me.
Noah: why would I leave you?

Amanda took a deep breath as her eyes began to water.

Amanda: I'm pregnant.
Noah: oh.

For a minute or so no one talked until Noah broke the silence.

Noah: so I'm going to be a dad?
Amanda: yes
Noah: and your going to be a mum?

You may think it was stupid for him to ask that, but Amanda understood. He was Noah after all.

Amanda: yeah.

And then Amanda broke down.

Noah: hey what's up? Is it the baby? Is it hormones?
Amanda: no it's not the baby, its not hormones. Are you going to leave me?
Noah: what? Of course not. Why would you ask that?
Amnada: well were to 23 year olds, why wouldn't I ask that.
Noah: look. I'm not going to leave you.

As he said that he pulled her close and grabbed the TV remote.

Noah: what do you want to watch?
Amanda: jaws.
Noah: are you sure?
Amanda: of course. It's the perfect excuse to snuggle with you.

They both laughed at that comment and lied down to watch the movie.
