Giselle had ended her time at The Next Step. She had been to, regionals, nationals and internationals and felt like it was time to let other people have their go.

So, she had been searching for touring companies holding auditions. That's right, she wanted to show everyone how dedicated she was to dance and how hard she had been working to perfect every move.

Michelle: hey Giselle, what are you doing?

Michelle said as she entered Hidalgo's behind some removalist.

Giselle: oh, hi Michelle. I'm looking for a dance touring company.
Michelle: have you tried 'Superstar Acting and Dancing Touring Company?' (made up) I looked at them when I had just moved here.
Giselle: no, thanks for the heads up though.

Michelle nodded at Giselle than looked at her watch.

Michelle: I have to go! I have a date with John.
Giselle: how cute. Have fun!

Michelle ran out of Hidalgo's leaving Giselle alone again.

Mere seconds later Riley walked in with James. The couple sat across from Giselle and made conversation.

Riley: what are you doing here at this time of the evening? Just cause you're dance captain, doesn't mean you have to stay here all night.
Giselle: actually, I'm looking for touring companies.
James: like, the circus?
Giselle: no. I've already done that.

Giselle replied pointing quickly at James.

Riley: so, you're leaving?
Giselle: yeah. I feel like if I'm good enough to help my team win 3 major competitions, then I'm good enough to show the world.
Waitress: here are your two mango smoothies.

She said giving two takeaway cups to James and Riley.

Riley: thanks.
James: bye.

James said standing up with Riley.
The pair walked away, hand in hand, laughing at each other.

Giselle searched for another half hour before her crush, Theo, walked in and sat right next to her.

Theo: what are you doing Giselle?

Giselle finally turned towards Theo, after blushing, and answered.

Giselle: I'm putting my name down for auditions.
Theo: you do realize that A Troupe aren't having auditions this time?

Theo asked turning his body toward Giselle.

Giselle: I know, but this is for a touring company.
Theo: oh.

Was all Theo could say finally realizing that Giselle was leaving.

Giselle: I'm leaving Toronto.

The pair sat there in silence until they were interrupted by the builders taking down the Hidalgo's sign with a drill.

------------------ (1 week later) ------------------

Today was the day that Giselle was leaving for the touring company. She had said goodbye to everyone at the studio the day before.
She even went to the music studio to say goodbye but Theo wasn't there.

Sure she was excited to go on tour, but her heart would always be with The Next Step.

Theo: Giselle.

Theo said stopping in front of Giselle out of breath. Giselle pulled him into a hug and sobbed on his shoulder.

Giselle: I'm going to miss you.

Theo pulled away and wiped Giselle's tears.

Theo: I know you will. Who wouldn't.

This made Giselle laugh, even through the tears.
A sudden thought popped into Giselle's head. A question, in fact.

Giselle: what are we?
Theo: I was hoping boyfriend and girlfriend?
Giselle: good.

She hugged Theo again, this time not letting go.

The taxi arrived and Giselle walked outside with Theo.

Theo: I guess this is goodbye?
Giselle: yeah.

Giselle leaned in and kissed her boyfriend.

Theo: I love you.
Giselle: I love you too.

This is when both of their hearts ignited.
