No one noticed Vic standing there. It wasn't until Fleur came into the Hospital Wing that anyone turned her way. Ron was the first to see Vic but he though she was Fleur."Fleur, you're here." he said "Did... did someone tell you what happened?"
"Ron... no... I'm not... no." she stuttered. The lack of French accent didn't seem to identify her in Ron's mind.
"You want to see him, don't you?" he continued. Bill sputtered out of his loopy state and tried to set Ron straight.
"That's... not... Fleur..." he said slowly.
"He's right." Vic added in her perfect English accent. "Fleur's talking to Madam Pomfrey over near... by Teddy's bed."
"Teddy's here?" Bill tried to sit up but Molly held him down. "Can you- can I talk to Vic alone please?" No one liked it but they left anyway. Molly gave Vic a hug on the way by. Vic moved to beside Bill's bed.
"I don't really look that much like her, do I?" she joked, trying to lighten the mood.
"No... Ron is just unobservant and a little dense." Bill smiled. "Who're you here for?"
"It... doesn't matter." Vic said. "I think we're a bit late. We had a slight setback once we arrived."
"Who, Vic? who?" Bill begged "Was it me? Were you here to save me?"
"No," Vic said softly "No, you weren't going to die, and mum always said you look more handsome with your scars."
"Then who?" Bill asked again. "No one died, and i'm the only one who got seriously injured."
"What?!" Victoire froze.
"Yeah, so you must have been here for me and you just feel bad that you didn't make it-" he stopped talking when Vic ran out of the Hospital Wing at breakneck speed. "What?" Bill said to himself "What did I say."
The horrible sound of throwing up came from the bed next to Bill. Under the separating curtain, Bill saw it splatter onto the floor. Next thing that happened was Madam Pomfrey working around the patient. On the other side of the Wing, Teddy was out of bed, it seemed.
He stumbled around and fell. Wherever he was going, he didn't make it. Bill could see Madam Pomfrey's shoes point towards him but quickly turn back to the student beside her when he started to throw up again. She shouted out for someone to help Ted and Molly rushed over.
She helped him up and tried to detect him back over to his bed but Teddy refused and resisted. He had another coughing fit and had to put all his weight on Molly to keep him from falling. Nonetheless, he kept trying to move. Molly had no choice but to hang by him and make sure he didn't fall. It looked like he was trying to get to Bill.
One he got there, he had another coughing fit. He fell at Bill's bedside and clutched the rail of the gurney, making that the only thing holding him up. In between coughs he chocked out his words: "Whe-" cough "-re's" cough "Vict-" cough "oire?" three coughs this times. Molly rushed to his side once more and patted his back.
Madam Pomfrey finally finished with her throwing up kid and rushed over. Fleur was still right behind her. Pomfret kept muttering spells at Teddy until finally his coughs subsided. He was finally able to take a deep breath. He wasting to be ok for now.
"What's wrong with him?" Molly asked.
"Seems like a really nasty cold that progressed naturally fast." The Healer said "I don't know what caused the progression, but it was most likely magical. You know, I've only ever seen this once. About two years ago I had a student come in and, you didn't hear this from me, she was time traveling to fit in more classes to her time table!"
"Poppy!" Molly chuckled uneasily "I didn't peg you for a gossip."
"Oh, nonsense Molly. You didn't hear any of this from me."
