We finally pulled up to our house and it wasn't something I was use to. Being as though I always stayed in the country the city polluted thick muggy air was something I wasn't use to. The quiet streets I grew up on to the crowded streets and bright skyscraper lights were all I saw. The U-haul were already here taking our things on the house. Mom was in the kitchen putting the dishes up so I decided to go explore for myself. We were now living in a three bedroom apartment I picked the next biggest room because I knew ma would want the biggest room. I sat on the floor as my mind drifted to the boy at the bus stop well I think it was I really hope it was because I don't date girls 😑 I guess I was deep in thought because ma was yelling name from my room door. "Si? Mami" I said getting up. "I was going to ask did you decide on which room you wanted but I see you have already"she said coming in looking around. "Yeah moma I got the next best thing because ik how you love your space" I said giggling. " As long as you know but I'm going to go out and find a market the movers are going to keep being and setting our things up you should try and find a mall or something." My mother said making her way to the door. "Alright mami i think I seen a mill on our way here I'll go check it out be safe and I'll be back before dinner" I said kissing her cheek make my way out the door. I got in my car and sat on my phone looking for local malls near me it was one 15 minutes away so I set my gps and made my way to the mall. Look out Mondawmin Mall I'm coming to cash out.😝
