GAME DAY🏆
Asher's POV
I was sitting in my last class for today when Makenzie came and sat by me. "Hey Ash. Ready for tonight's game?" She asked grabbing one of my crayons. Kenzie has been my best friend since kindergarten and I kind of had a crush on her. She was a nice shade of brown skin and she always wore her hair down straight. She was a cheerleader for my basketball team. "Hey Kenzie. And yeah a little nervous but I know your going to cheer me on." I said nudging her. "Of course the coach is going to let us paint #'s on our faces you know I'm going to get yours ." She said smiling. We continued to do our work til Christopher Becket came over. Let me tell y'all about this dude. He always tried to get with Kenzie but she wasn't that interested in him. He came and sat beside her and tried to use MY CRAYONS oh naw bro first you try to take my girl then my crayons. I grabbed the red crayon he tried to get and put it in the box . He look at me and I mugged him. "Hey Kenzie you look pretty today. I like your hair." He said trying to be smooth. "Hi and it's like this everyday but thanks" she said while coloring. Y'all that boy was getting no play.😂"So I heard the cheerleaders get to put #s on them you getting mine right." He smirk looking at me. Kenzie laughed and look at him "Why would I do that silly? I'm getting Asher's." I looked and smirk at him as his wiped right off his face. "Oh well maybe next time." He said getting up. "Yeah maybe next " she said as she finished her work. "Mmm I think you hurt your little boyfriends feelings." I said packing up my stuff. "Don't start with me Asher." She hated when I said that she got up and went to pack her stuff up. Lord now she's mad at me she never calls me Asher. I was about to go get up and tell her I was just playing when the announcements came on for dismal. I sat back down and shook my head. I'll just talk to her before the game. The basketball team got called down to the gym when the walkers and pick ups left. We went in the locker rooms to change. We went in the gym and got to shot around before the game. I was called down to the front desk to pick up something. As I walked down there I ran into Kenzie she was on her way to the office to I guess now I was really confused. I apologize to Kenzie and we were back to normal she look cute in her uniform. We made it to the desk and Tahja was here. "Heey sissy" "Heey Tahja" me and Kenzie said . "Hey guys. Don't y'all look cute I'll take you guys pictures after the game I brought y'all some snacks." She said handing me and Kenzie a 7/11 bag. This was another reason I love basketball season Tahja always looked out before and after the games. She said she had a friend coming to the game with her. She must had been special because Tahja never brings girls around. We went back to the gym and people were filling in the bleachers I went with the teams and Kenzie went with the girls but not before we did our handshake and wished each other luck.
