Lani's POV...
Last night Tahja didn't  called me or texted back. I really wanted to know what was wrong so I texted her and told her 12 o clock meet me at Starbucks by the campus. I finished getting dress and made my way to my first class. The professor was running a little late so me and my homegirl Jasmine talked until he came in. "Girl omg lemme tell you about last night" she said all happy. "Calm down lol what happened" I said shaking my head  "so I met this girl at the mall yesterday and I invited her over and we was talking then next thing you know we ended up in my bedroom." She said jumping all around . " Omg fr ? What she look like ? Was it good? What y'all do?" I was so curious I mean I always ask Tahja about things two girls do but I wanted a different point of view . "She had dreads she brown skin got a tattoo on her neck and was it good? Girl it was lovely!! And let's just say she played in my water park.😉" she said winking. For some reason this girl sound familiar too familiar like Tahja familiar 😒 I asked what store she meet her at in the mall and she said footlocker and at that moment I knew she was talking about Tahja. I didn't show her it got to me that my best friend left me to go be with her . After waiting another hour some lady came in to inform us class was cancelled and that was perfectly fine with me because I was ready to confront Tahja about last night. I made my way to my car and look at the time it was 11:50 I made my way to Starbucks and found a table and waited for Tahja. 10 minutes later in walked a sleepy looking Tahja she walked over to me and gave me a hug and kissed my forehead. For a minute I almost thought about letting the situation go but I decided to ask anyways. "Good afternoon Best friend." She said licking her lips and slumped back in her seat. "Afternoon so what happened last night."I asked to see if her expression would change but like Tahja it didn't. "I wasn't in the mood so I just dipped" she said shrugging her shoulders. I glanced at her neck and notice a hickey. "So where you dip too"I said waiting to hear a lie. "I was going to go home but something came up that's why I didn't call my bad " she said nonchalant. "That's why you got a hickey?" She must didn't know it was there cs she pulled her phone out and looked at her neck "Bro wtf I didn't even see that shit" she said mad. "Mm so you got a gf now?" I asked knowing the answer "Naw she ain't my girl but she's a good friend" she said laughing. I rolled my eyes "yeah I bet she told me all about it" when I said that her face scrunched up "Wym she told you" she said now sitting up. "Your little booty call is in my class." I said with an attitude. "Oh word? She say I put it down?" She said smirking . I rolled my eyes and stood up and walked out. She really think that shit funny and cute. "Lani wait why you tripping I was just playing." She said running up and grabbing my arm "Ain tripping Tahj" I said looking at the ground "Best friend look at me" she said picking my chin up "What Tahj" I said I never call her Tahj so she knew I was mad. "Why you mad stinky feet" she said trying to butter me up "I'm not" i said crossing my arms. " you acting like it!" She said looking at me with the really nigga face. "I'm not fr I'm just sleepy " I said trying to change the subject. "Want take a nap before I go pick up Asher " she said putting her arm over my shoulder and walking me to my car. I shook my head yes and she laughed and shook her head. " your a cry baby but I'll meet you at your house" she kissed my forehead and got in her car and waited for me to pull off. When we got back to my house I seen my moms car she must haven't left yet to go on her lunch date with her friend. "Ma!!" I yelled through the house with Tahja following behind me. "In the kitchen Chica" I heard her call . Me and Tahja went in to see her drinking coffee "Heey babies" she said greeting me and Tahja. "Hey mama" I said kissing her cheek getting a water bottle out the fridge "Hey mommy" Tahja said smiling ear to ear. I laughed and told her we was going to be up stairs if she needed us. We went to the room and I stripped outta my hoodie and slid off my yoga pants which left me in my sports bra and boy shorts . I got use to being in my under clothes in front of Tahja like she said we're both girls. She took off her hoodie and pants and had on her sports bra and boxers. She put her dreads up and got in bed. I snuggled up be side her and let her body heat consume me. She played in my hair as I laid on her chest and slowly fell asleep.
