Tahj POV...
I was running a little late picking up Asher from junior league basketball that they have after school. I hurried off the bus and down the block to his school. As I approached the entrance I saw him sitting on the steps playing with his Spider-Man toy. "Heey lil man sorry I'm late." I said picking him up walking to the bus. "Heey sissy I made 3 points today at practice." He said as he laid his head down on my shoulder. "Check you out balling like Kobe and stuff proud of you kid." I waited for a response but he was fast asleep the bus pulled up and I carried him to the back and sat him on my lap. I sat back and look at the passing lights and cars. My phone vibrate in pocket I took it out and it was a long distance number. Since I dont give my number out to many I already knew who it was..

We talked the whole night I found out a lot about Miss Lani. She was chill and smart. She told me she was going to be starting college next month at Morgan State. That wasn't to far from where I stay and the mall so if I got the job I definitely be seeing a lot more of her. I wasn't going to go out tonight so I laid down and and listen to cars ride back and forth til I fell asleep.
