Chapter 14

Tahja POV...
I made it to school a little before the game stated to give Asher and Kenzie their snacks. Asher's been good friends with Kenzie done even they were shorties and I knew Asher had a crush on her. She on of the reasons he joined the team. Kenzie was a pretty little girl and her mom was fine as hell but let me not get started. Since I knew how close they were I always looked out for her she was like my little sister so it won't no thing. I was waiting for Lani slow tail to make it here she had text me and told me she was trying to find a park. After about 20 minutes later her cute self met me by the ticket stand. "Finally slow self" I said giving her a hug. "Oh shut up the streets were busy the parking lot was full. You do remember I'm not use to all this traffic." She said pushing me.  "Yeah yeah come on they're about to start." We got our tickets and sat at the top of the bleachers. Lani was so excited to see the little cheerleaders she said she was a cheerleader in high school. She going to have to show me some of them moves😉 . Asher and his team ran out and I showed Lani Asher. She was so happy and thought he was the cutest thing. I should her Kenzie and told her that was his best friend and he had a crush on her. Lani thought it was cute and she peeped how Kenzie had Asher's number on her cheek. Even I didn't see that. The whole game Lani cheered for Asher and did the cheers with the girls. She kept posting the game on snapchat and taking selfies with of me. This country girl had to much energy and I like it. Asher's team won and they went around shaking the others team hand. When they were done Asher ran up to me .. "Did you see me Tahja I made 5 points" he said milky rocking. I laughed and shook my head " yeah man I seen you out there doing your thing proud of you." He look at Lani and back at me. " This the friend you were talking about" "Yeah Lani this is Asher. Asher this is my best friend Lalani she's new to the city." She held her hand out to shake his but Asher gave her a hug. Lani hug him back and wished him congratulated him. Kenzie came over and I took they pictures and introduced her to Lani. I asked her did she want to join us for ice cream and she said she had to go ask her mother. I nodded my head in understanding and waited for her and Asher to come back. "You think he like me?" Lani said "Yeah ma he gave you hug I think he like you a lot" I said smiling she laughed rolled her eyes. I didn't even notice we were matching til she asked me to take her pictures. She said we'd take pictures later. She posted the pictures on her instagram captioning it "At lil bro game🤘🏼😜 #gobears 🐻" Kenzie and Asher came back and her mom said it was cool just to have her home by 8. We all piled up in Lani's car and I type in the address to Netta's Cones. We got there Asher and Kenzie found a booth us a booth. "Hello how may I help you?" The waiter asked. "Can I get a strawberry milk shake , 2 Vanilla cones and " I look at Lani to see what she wanted. "Um I'll have a Oreo milkshake please." She said closing the menu. The waiter left and we talked til she came back. Lani phone ring and she excused herself. She went outside where I could still see her. Kenzie was telling Asher a story and I look back to check on Lani and she look like she was fussing. I told them to sit there and just have the waiter sit our things down and I went to check on Lani. "You okay?" I asked as she hung up the phone. She wipe her face and look at me "yeah I'm fine" I shook my head "obviously your not so what's up talk to me" she took a deep breath. "Before I moved here I had to break things off with the guy I was dating. He didn't take the news to well and I haven't heard from him til now. He saw my snaps of me and you and called me fussing and cussing me out . Saying I was gay and I left him for you and all this other shit. Even though I'm grown and I can do what the hell I want I told him we were just friends he didn't want to believe me so I just hung up on him. Like how can he call me a hoe and a bitch and all this other shit when we were just together." She started crying again. One thing about me I hate seeing females cry . I wipe her face and gave her a hug. "Calm down ma. Fuck him no nigga should disrespect a female especially if he use to fwu . If he was here I'd go fuck him up for talking about you. You don't have to explain shit to him. Don't let him get to you okay?" I let her go and she nodded her head. We went back inside and she went to the bathroom to fix herself she came back and joined us. We talked and told stories til it was time to get Kenzie home. Since Lani didn't know where she was going and still was feeling a little down she let me drive. Shorty really trust me cs when I get a whip I'll never let nobody drive my shit. We pulled up in front of Kenzie house and Asher walked her to the door they hug and he waited for her to get in the house before he got in the car . I look over to my right and saw Lani knocked out. I laughed and took her picture and made my way home when we got infrint of my house I gave Asher the key to get in the house and I told him I'd be in in a minute. I woke Lani up and asked her was she good her eyes were still a little puffy but she said she was good I gave her a hug and I told her to FaceTime me when she got home. I watched her pull off as I went in the house. Asher was in the shower so I decided I'd take one too. I got in and let the hot warm consume my body. After 20 minutes later I got out and but on my black nike sports bra and polo boxers I wine to go check on Asher and he was sleep on the couch in front of the tv his lunchable in his lap. I shook my head and put his food up and turn the tv off then carried him to his room. I wasn't that hungry so I heated me up a hot pocket and went to my room. I laid back and got on my phone. I had a text from Lani saying she made it home and she'll call me when she get out the shower. I sent a quick "ok" and went on instagram I really don't be up here cs ion fw nobody fr. I was the type to have more followers than following. The only way I followed you back was if you were cute. I posted the picture of Lani sleep in the car and captioned it "Country girl can't keep up with the city life😏💕 #bestfriendgoals" I immediately started getting likes and comments. I exited out of it and waited for Lani to call me.
