I wake up. What? I look down. Nothing I smile. Thank the lord. I look over at Danny sleeping. I'm so glad that was just a dream. I couldn't have went on if I lost my baby. I have a feeling this will be the pregnancy that'll leave stretch marks. I laugh at myself. I think I'm going crazy. I talk to myself way too much. Would a crazy person know she's crazy. No. If sane person thinks she's insane then she's actually sane. Whoa. My head hurts now. I get up and go to the kitchen. I want a pepperoni roll. Damn.
"Danny!" He walks downstairs.
"Yes."
"I need a pepperoni roll."
"I'll be back." He huffs.
"Thank you! Sour patch kids are needed also!" I yell.
"Okay."
I walk around and put my hand on my belly.
"You were a big surprise! Mommy and Daddy love you baby! I can't wait to see you. I wonder if you're a girl or boy. Momma wants you to be healthy. So don't come early." I smile to myself. Maybe I am crazy. I sit down on the couch.
Jasmine walks in the door.
"I have news for you!"
"What is that?"
"Bryce and I are engaged!" My jaw falls open.
"What!?"
"Yeah."
"Oh congrats!, when did you two even get together. Why didn't you tell me."
"We got together again at the birthday party and I didn't think it'd go this far!"
"I'm happy! I get more grandbabies!"
"He's moving into the house with me."
"And you'll be near me!" I pat the seat beside me.
"I have news too! Sit." She sits down.
"What? Tell me."
"I have a great body especially with the fact I've been pregnant 4 times."
"Jess you've only been pregnant---- what no way!" She jumps up and screams. It hits me I've been pregnant 4 times. Wow.
"Shit!"
"What?"
"Jess you drank a week ago!"
"Fuck. I'll make an appointment" I'm suddenly filled with regret. My baby could be hurt because of my stupidly. Shit shit shit........
