New Beginnings

Chapter 33

My alarm goes off and I jump up. Today makes 18 weeks! Time to find out what the next baby Huston is!! I shake Danny and he pops up.
"Todays the day! Woohoo!" He screams and kisses me.  I get out of bed with Danny's help and then start my morning routine. Brushing hair, then teeth and finally have Danny dress me. Honestly I don't need to have him dress me but it's fun to watch him struggle. I see him finishing up getting dressed and he walks to me.
"Dress?" I nod my head yes.
He goes to the closet and picks out a quarter sleeved black dress. I stand up and put my arms up. He pulls off my nightie and slides the dress on.
"I wish you could not have any clothes on." He whispers.
I grab my purse and keys while he goes and pulls up the Honda Sonata. In the car I put my makeup on and Danny hits every pothole possible. He laughs when I get frustrated. It makes me more frustrated.
"If you don't stop I won't have sex with you till Raine graduates high school." I growl.
He stops and continues driving like a normal person.
"Thank you."
We pull in and park closest to the doors. I grab my purse and hand it to Danny while I get my fat ass out the car. I sigh out of breath when I succeed.
"Damn, age is hitting me today." Danny laughs.
"Age hit me a while ago."
We walk in and go to the maternity floor. Damn no ones really here today except for a young girl. She shaking? Danny sits but I walk up to her and bend down on my knees.
"Are you okay?"
"No." she sniffles and looks at her feet not even glancing at me.
"What the matter?"
"My mom and baby sister just died in the delivery room. I have nothing now. And I'm stuck trying to pay my college and now for a funeral oh god!"She looks about 18 or 19. She's young. I struggle to get up and hug her when I do. I walk back to Danny and grab my purse. I walk back to her and sit down. I whisper in her ear.
"I'll pay for your college and dorm and I'll have The funeral paid too."
"Oh my god." She sniffles and cries harder.
"Who would be nice enough to do that?" She looks and starts crying harder.
"What?"
"You're my fucking idol." She cries and hugs me. Danny smiles at me.
"Mr. and Mrs. Huston?"
"Stay here darling I'll take you back home."
"Okay."she sniffles.
Danny wraps his arm around my waist.
"You're amazing Jessie. I can't believe you'd pay for all that."
"I'm not I found one of Meryl's credit cards." I laugh.

"Bryce tell me what the baby is all ready."
"Fine. It's a boy." I smile and tear up. I love babies and I'll have my own soon again! Oh I'm so happy.

"Heres my number if you need anything sweetheart."
"Thank you so much."
"Anytime." I give her a kiss on the cheek and Danny and I head home.
