New Beginnings

Chapter 28

I wake up and go into the bathroom and look at myself. I don't feel bad about my looks anymore. I don't know why. I feel beautiful all the time. Has Danny given me my confidence back? He is the one who took it in the first place. I put a clip in my hair. I have to finish cooking. Today is Thanksgiving and I haven't even begun to cook. I walk downstairs and put on my apron. Danny walks down.
"Get to work! It's 7am and we have to finish by 3pm!"
"Calm down woman!" He laughs. I throw a plastic bowl at him. He runs to me and kisses me.
"Not now."
"Please."
"Too much work to do. Tonight."
"What if the kids stay."
"We'll go out."
"Then its a deal."
"Yeah now get to work!"

The doorbell rings. I walk to the door and look through the peek hole and open the door.
"Cadence! John! Come in guys." Cadence smiles and hugs me.
"Congrats mom."
"Same to you baby girl." Holy shit I just realized that my daughter and I are pregnant at the same time.
"Your fathers in the kitchen Cadence."
"Headed that way." She laughs. I walk into the kitchen and kiss Danny. He wraps his arm around my waist pulling me toward him. I smile and look at him lovingly. The doorbell rings and Cadence goes to answer it. Danny leans down and whispers.
"I hope your ready to get played with." He growls. Oh god. They may be my children but they need to leave! Raine waddles to the kitchen.
"Hey baby! Did you miss nana?"
"Wes! Ups!" She makes grabby hands at me. I pick her up and smile.
"I love you." I tickle her.
"Can you say papaw?" Raine shakes her head no.
"Please?" She shakes her head.
"Booger." He tickles her and she squeals.
"Say nana?"
"Na na na na" She sings.
"Such a beautiful voice baby girl."
"Down." She squirms. I let her down.
"Mama! Nana! Papaw!" She squeals and runs. Danny smiles at her cuteness and I think. Pretty soon we'll have a baby running through the house. I'm so happy. Julie and Baylin walk in and give Danny and I hugs and kisses. Jasmine and Bryce walk in.
"All my babies! Except Landyn and Rue."
"Make that just Rue!" Landyn says in the living room.
Rue walks in.
"Oh my lord child come here I haven't seen you in ages!" I say hugging her, laughing.
"I stay busy mom."
"I know but at least visit your father and I when we have your new sibling." Her jaw drops.
"You're not too old?"
"Obviously not." I smile and she hugs me.
"Congratulations." She drops to her knees.
"Welcome baby Huston!"

Anything you guys wanna see happen? Btw Jess's pregnancy will be quick. I'm not good with writing a pregnant person (probably bc ive never been pregnant) anywho comment if you wanna see happen and theres gonna be another thanksgiving chapter it wont be left like this!!
