Chapter 5

Gabriel's breathing began to slow as he fell asleep. I waited a few more minutes before I slowly slid away from him and to the edge of the bed.

I slowly got off the bed but froze when I heard him move. My eyes widened and I looked back but he continued to sleep.

Only then did I realize I was naked. I cursed under my breath silently and grabbed his shirt off the ground. I threw it on and then slipped on my underwear. I looked around for a little before I found my jeans on the  ground and quickly slipped them on.

I silently tip toed to the window and quietly opened it. I looked down happy to see a short fall. I would be able to leap down without getting injuries being a werewolf but it was still high enough for a human to get some.

I looked back at Gabriel who lay asleep in the bed before leaping out the window and landing swiftly on the grassy ground. I didn't dare look back! I ran and ran!

I raced into the forest and after another minute, an icy howl sounded. My eyes widened but I didn't stop! I ran faster and faster.

I can't tell you how long a ran... I just know it was really long... 2 miles at least but I wouldn't doubt another one... I had stopped running after a little. I still kept up speed with a fast walk though.

I knew Gabriel would be out for me... and I knew I would have to be careful... I didn't even know I was near a road until I heard the car behind me.

Relief filled me and I turned jumping up and down waving my arms in the air hoping the person would stop. Luckily, the car slowed to a stop in front of me. I gave a sigh of relief and raced to the drivers side where the window opened to reveal a man about my age. He had no scent of werewolf on him which was also a good sign.

"Thank you so much for stopping sir!" I thanked. "You have no idea how much this means to me!"

"Well, no woman should be walking alone at night out of town. Did you have boyfriend troubles?" He asked with a small chuckle. I returned it, this man didn't have the slightest clue what troubles I've been going through.

"I guess you could say that... May I get a ride please?" I asked. He smiled and nodded.

"Of course! Hop in." I gave a wide smile and raced to the passengers side getting in. "So where to?" He asked.

"Well, to be honest, I don't really have a house so if you would so kindly bring me to the closest town, I can find a hotel or something there... Though I don't know where I'll get the money now that I think about it..." I sighed.

"Tell ya what, how 'bout I let you stay at my place. You can get a job, raise some money and go on from there." He smiled. A wide smile fell onto my lips.

"Oh thank you sir! I promise I'll pay you back when I can!" I wrapped my arms around him in a hug but then pulled away quickly. "I-I'm sorry! You just don't know how happy I am!" I looked down, my cheeks hot with embarrassment.

"It's alright." He laughed. "I'm Killian by the way."

"Oh! I'm Sapphire. Sorry for not introducing myself earlier..." I apologized

"That alright. Well Sapphire do you mind telling me a little about yourself as I drive?"

And that was the start a very happy friendship.

1 Week later

"Wake up Killian!" I laughed. "You're gonna be late sleeping like a bear!" He groaned and shifted.

"5 more minutes?!" He begged.

"If ya wanna get fired, sure!" I giggled. He groaned and got up.

"Fine." He mumbled. I ruffled his hair before turning around. He grabbed my arm and spun me back crashing his lips on mine.

I smiled and kissed him back before getting up.

Though it had only been a week, Killian and I have started dating and it's been going really good! I felt more like he was my soul mate then Gabriel was.

My smile soon dropped though and I raced to the bathroom. I quickly lifted the toilet seat up and pulled my hair back the best I could before throwing up.

"Hey, you ok babe?" Killian rubbed my back and helped me keep my hair back. When I finished I grabbed some toilet paper and whipped my mouth before throwing it in and flushing.

"Yeah... I think..." I sighed.

"Are you sure? This happened yesterday too..." He asked sounding concerned. He was right... I threw up yesterday morning and even the day before that...

"Yeah. I'll just call Sarah and tell her I won't be in for work again today. She'll understand. You should get to work." I gave him a small smile. He returned it and kissed my forehead.

"Fine, but when I come home I'm taking you to the doctor, got it?" I gave a little giggle and nodded.

"Ok." I agreed.

Killian grabbed a quick breakfast and headed to the door. "Bye Saph!" He said.

"Bye!" And with that, the door shut. I headed to the bathroom to take a shower. I began to stripe, my clothes fell to the ground. Before I stepped into the shower I felt the urge to look in the mirror. Something was telling me something...though I didn't know what...

I looked over in the mirror and that's when I realized my belly had slightly grown. I looked at it in confusion even turning to the other side to examine my belly.

"I've probably just been eating a little too much then I should. It's nothing." I tried to shrug it off but I still had the feeling in my stomach.

"Gosh mother nature! Why pick on me all the time?!"

Is she?! Or is she not... >.> You'll find out in the next chapter X3 That scene is still making me a little nervouse for the future of this book and my life..... but ~takes deep breath~ there's no going back now...

Actually I mean I could delete this book but I'm not going to do that ;) I mean... unless it does go bad.... SO PLEASE COMMENT HOW IT'S GOING ;D
