Chapter 16

Katelyn peeked over and noticed Lilly. "A pup?" She asked. Katelyn was 13 making her to-be age. Lilly was only 6 making her still a pup of course.

"Katelyn, this is Lilly, Lilly, this is Katelyn. Lilly was a pup from my old pack, she's gonna be staying with me from now on." I explained. "Now, why don't you two go play while us adults talk ok?" I gave them a gentle smile.

I was a little scared... they were completely different. Katelyn had grown up around the humans while Lilly had grown up in the wild. Would they get along well? Or would their differences cause a war?

They Katelyn gave a little smile while Lilly still looked a little curious. "Ok! Come on Lilly. Let's go play." She said, reaching out her hand slowly trying not to scare her.

Lilly looked down at her hand before slowly taking it. Katelyn slowly led her away to play.

Rebecca and I both watched them leave before sitting down. "So your packs still alive! And you've gone back to see them? She smiled happily.

I sighed. "Well not entirely... Gabriel killed everyone and left the pups to die... Lilly was the only surviving pup once Gabriel sent out a patrol to find them... They found only the bones of the rest...." I explained.

"Sapphire I'm so sorry..." She said grabbing my hands. "That's terrible..."

"It's not inportant now... We're working on Lilly's weight now and that's what's inportant. Full-Moon Pack is dead. No longer can their be a full blooded Full-Moon Pack wolf. It's time to leave that in the past..." I sighed.

It was silent for a few seconds before Rebecca tore us away from the awkward conversation switching it to another. "Well how about the twins?" She said with a smile. "Thought of any names yet?"

"No not yet.." I sighed. "I haven't been able to do anything with all the stress Gabriel's put me in!" I groaned.

"Well stress isn't good for the baby. How about we have a girls day! We could drop the kids off at a daycare or something and then go search for baby things!" Rebecca exclaimed in joy.

"I don't know Rebecca... Lilly's just come to the humans. She's only ever heard stories about them, what if she falls asleep and turns or something?"  I asked.

"Well then how about I get James to watch them?" She gave a small smile. James was her husband, he knew about werewolves.

"I guess that would work." I nodded. Rebecca's smile got wider.

"Great!" We both rose from the table. "Katelyn." She called.

"Lilly." Both girls came running out Lilly sat in her wolf form looking up with a tilted head. I gave a small smile seeing how cute she looked.

"We're going back home for now ok?" Rebecca told Katelyn. "Dad's gonna watch you two while mommy and Sapphire go out for a little." She explained.

I knelt down to Lilly. "Now Lilly, Katelyn's father knows about werewolves but if there are other people over you still need to be human and you can't act like a wolf ok? Humans won't understand." I explained to her.

Lilly nodded understanding what she had to do. I sighed. "Lets go get that shirt you were wearing." I said. She trotted after me back to the room were I picked up the oversized shirt with the two ponytails in it. She changed back into her human form and I put the shirt back on her.

The neck no longer fell to deep and Killian shirt was more like a dress going down to her ancles. I picked her up into my arms and we all headed out to Rebecca's car.

Rebecca drove us to her house and we dropped off the kids. James was fine with it, he said he might take them out for a walk or just play around at the park.

Rebecca and I headed through town in search of a store. She wanted to look through the baby stuff.

We bought tons of clothes and other baby stuff. Rebecca and I carried all the bags to the car and packed them up in the trunk.

7 days later

I laughed as I watched the little silver figure dart across the room giving a happy bark. Killian laughed. Lilly challenged him with a playful growl before giving another bark and racing back to him leaping up onto the couch next to him and pulling at the sleeve of his shirt.

"Alright now little war-wolf, time for bed." I told her. She sat giving a yawn before leaping down and trotting away to the bedroom. I smiled at Killian and sat down next to him.

"Your such a great person, Killian." I sighed. "The girl you find is truly going to be the luckiest girl in the world..." I gave him a soft, caring smile.

"And you're an amazing girl Saph. Gabriel's gotta come around sometime." He said as he reached out moving a strand of hair behind my ear.

"I hope so.." I sighed before giving a little yawn.

"Come on." He smiled. "Lets get some rest." I nodded tired as Killian took my hand and led me to the bedroom where he helped me into bed and lay the blankets over me.

I curled up happily in the warmth as I felt him get into bed on the other side.

"Good night Killian." I breathed out before drifting off to sleep.

The next morning I awoke, got up and dressed. Killian hadn't been in bed and I was happy to see that he had been able to get up at the right times lately.

I grabbed some new clothes and put them on before walking out of the room.

There had been a note on the kitchen counter and when I read it I saw it was from Killian explaining he had already gone to work.

I sighed knowing I would have to meet back up with Gabriel today. I flipped the paper over and wrote down a quick little note.

I went off to wait for Gabriel. Stay strong Killian, one day you'll find a lady just for you! She'll be so lucky to have you. I hope to stay in contact with you,

With that I packed up our bags and the baby stuff. Lilly and I headed out to the alley way were I would meet Gabriel...

This meeting would bring me back to the pack and then that's what determined my fate... Would Gabriel continue to abuse me? Or has he finally changed for the greater good...?

Sorry for slow updates everyone! I'm really trying but again it's just some school/family problems. And some VD problems... major VD problems... DX but I'll try to get more updates in! I have some drawing payments I have to do too and rn I'm just really busy XP

You guys can see me at Insta too remember at mirandadobberpuhl! I mostly just post art there but I do have other stuff like book covers when I have new books (the only one is this cover I swear! XD) but yeah!

Also, idk if I told you but it's been approved for a while now! My mother is indeed pregnant and we think it's a girl! She's 3 months along and we'll find out the gender in 8 weeks! ;D hopefully it's a girl XP between my step bor, brother and his friends, there's too many boys in the house DX DX DX
