Chapter 14

I'm sorry I haven't been posting much. From now on updates will come randomly. Maybe once all this mess goes away I can get back on a decent schedule but rn I've been really busy. Math is a struggle and if I don't get my grade up soon I'll have to get held back... which I of course don't want. So I'm sorry if it takes a while to update but please understand I'm very busy...

He blinked a few times stumbling back. His shocked expression showed he didn't know what to do. "...And you can do that too...?" He hesitantly asked.

"Not at the moment but when my pups are born I'll be in my wolf form for a day before I'm able to change freely again. Being in new, unfamiliar territory, Lilly will change to her wolf form once her guard is down. It's for safety. It'll stop once she's been in half her time as a trainer. Then she'll be taught to always be ready for anything."

"Well if you have a pack, why'd you come here?" He asked.

"The pack I've been staying in right now isn't really my pack... Alpha Gabriel, my mate stole me and killed my pack... That's why I ran away..." I turned to Killian. "Gabriel is cruel, Killian. He's abusive and evil. The only reason he's 'changed' is because he's waiting for his pups to be born. I wouldn't doubt after they are he'll just go back to his ways and teach his pups to be evil." I drug him away from the couch and to another room.

"I am to see Gabriel in 9 days. I will go back with him and see if he's changed. If he hasnt, I am coming back. Killian, if that happens I need you to leave this life. We'll start new in a new town. Believe me, I would leave myself of I could but Killian he knows where you live, he'll come after you and kill you in search for me." Tears clouded my vision as I gazed up at him.

"I understand Sapphire." He smiled down at me and I wrapped my arms around him digging my head into his chest.

"Why couldn't I have had you as a mate..." I sighed. His fingers flowed through my hair as he tried comforting me.

"I don't know how I'd be able to handle all that though." He gave a little chuckle making me also laugh a little.

"You'd also be a better father then Gabriel." I sighed.

"Hey." Killian pulled away placing his hands on my shoulder as he looked down into my eyes. "You have something a lot of people would want. I mean, I'd love to find someone I was destined to be with. A soul mate has to be amazing. If this so called alpha Gabriel," He said in a mocking voice which made me give a little laugh. "Can't see that he's been blessed with such a beautiful, caring girl, then he's fucking insane." He said making me laugh a little more.

I closed my eyes taking a deep breath of his cologne as my arms were wrapped around his waist. "I love you so much..." I said looking up at him.

"I love you too Saph." He said kissing my forehead. "But your soul mate is Gabriel. I have to respect that. I know men, I am one after all. If you steal their meat, they'll be pissed," We both gave a little laugh. "But if you steal their girl, there lost, weak and defenseless. They'll do anything to get her back. Gabriel will come around. He's got to realize soon that you are perfect. He'll realize you need so much more and he will give it to you." He promised.

Tears were brimming my eyes at his sweet words. No one had ever spoken to me like that... He was so sweet, so caring, so kind? It was perfect...

"I'm going to miss you Sapphire, there's no doubt about that, but if Gabriel is your soul mate, you've got to be with him." He gave me a gentle smile. "I'd love to spend the rest of my life! I know it'd be great, but Gabriel was built and made for you, as we're you for him. And because of that, he'll have to change. I know he will. Destiny made you two to be togethet. You're meant ro be."

"Killian..." I drifted off not knowing what to say.

"I'll find someone Sapphire, they'll never be able to match you but I'm sure I'll still be able to find someone. Your meant for Gabriel, I understand and I know I have to respect that." He moved a strand of hair behind my ear. I placed my hand over his as it lay on my cheek.

His touch was soft and gentle. Everything I needed right now. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath.

"Thanks Killian, for everything..." I said. He held me tighter as if I would somehow vanish into thin air.

"I'll always be here for you Saph, always." He pulled away looking down at me with a gentle smile. "Come on, you must be tired."

Killian led me to the spare room. He pulled the blankets over me and smiled down at me. "Night Saph." He said kissing my forehead.

"Good night Killian." I smiled before he got up and walked to the door. I curled up laying on my side. I tried to get comfortable to sleep but couldn't seem to.

I began to twist and turn doing everything to try and fall asleep. Deciding it was no use I got up. I walked out of the room and to Killian's. As I made my way to his room I saw a flicker of bright blue out the window. My head snapped in the direction to find the silhouette of a wolf.

I instantly growled and made my way to the door to investigate the intruder.

SO I GOT SOME HAPPY NEWS!!!! ikr happy news finally comes T_T  Well anyway! It's something that you have to wait till nine months.... it's also in this story...

I'M GOING TO BE A BIG SISTER :D well I'm I already am but I was like 2 when my brother was born so I don't remember a lot.... I'm really hoping for a sister! Because my brother runs around the house like a dinosaur with his friends so we already have enough boys in this house T_T

My step brothers cool ig, pretty calm, still younger then I so he's alright...

I'M ALSO MOVING TO THE HUGE BASEMENT!!!! :D once we get it teen bedroom ready of course.... cuz rn it's demon ready >.> XD

I honestly can't wait! Like, nine months better go by fast! And we haven't gotten it doctor confirmed but my mom did take two pregnancy test, both coming back positive so I mean she most likely is... I really hope that doctor says she is ;-;

ANYWAY!!! sorry for not posting, I've been really busy and ik my mom's gonna need help around the house with a big belly so now it's gonna be really hard to update when she's a few months in. I will try my best though!
