Marco's POV

I use every bit of my strength to say a word. I inhale deeply, feeling the soothing air enter my nostrils. I close my eyes and feel everything evolve around me for a moment. I exhale, with my eyes shut still. I encounter a sudden rush going throughout my body. In less than a second, I part my lips, ready to response. I have to tell them what my opinion says too. I open my eyes, letting the light adjust and contrast the colors. Then, everything goes steady. I reply,

"No." Crossing my arms.

"That's it! You're paying our transportation fee." Janna huffs.

"Meanie." Yusi pouts.

"Damn Diaz, they're just helping. Try reconsidering." Jackie sighs.

Janna turns to Jackie, "Then, why are you here if you're not helping?"

"I'm the one who avoids trouble in the group, just in case you guys do something illegal and stupid." Jackie says, smugly.

A pit of females whining in despair has existed. These girls are impossible, they're acting like they're in kindergarten-except for Jackie. She's mature enough.

I cross my arms, feeling my soft, cold skin as I rub each of my arm. "Shhh! Can you guys tone it down?! People are staring at us! Powerful people, even. This is not a common place. These individuals can slice your mouth off in a split! How'd you guys get here anyways?!" I hiss.

"We had our ways." Yusi arrogantly smirks.

Janna furrows her eyebrows in anger. Damn, I don't know what I said to make her flame up like this. "Hear me out, Diaz." Janna emphasizes my name boldly.

"I don't give a flying shit of who these people are. I owe you big debt because of last year and I hate paying it. All I care right now is I'm able to repay it by leaving traces of success tonight," She adds as I recall what happened last year.

"So, you better appreciate our effort rather than complaining. It's hard to admit defeat. I don't do this just for anyone because I'm Janna!" She point out to herself.

I stare down as she declares. For some reason, I kinda feel ashamed and guilty for mistreating them. I mean, I have my points too on this situation. However, their point overcame mine. As much as I hate to say this but, it's their win for this round.

I sigh, setting my eyes aside, not making any contact. I slowly show them that I was guilty. I don't wanna mention anything about it. I put my crossed arms down, "S-Sorry, I was wrong. You win, okay? Just don't make this a big deal." I hesitantly apologize.

"Don't avoid contact." Yusi instructs.

"What?"

"Look into our eyes and say it like you mean it." Janna boldly demands.

I move my vision towards Jackie since she's the only one not saying a thing. She groans, "Just do what they say." She confirms.

I pause. It's the only thing I can think of doing right now. I need to think this through to make the best decisions for the best outcomes. I inhale and exhale. I make contact with them in the eye. I sincerely say the next words that comes out of my mouth,

"I'm sorry. What I did was wrong, I should've just appreciated your efforts." I end.

Janna and Yusi raises a brow-it'll take a lot of time for them to think it through. They just love rubbing it into my face.

"Forgiven." Jackie intrudes the lead. Janna and Yusi stares at her with a 'seriously' look on their faces. "Guys, just do your thing, okay? I came here to help, not hearing apologies." She sighs, annoyed. Never seen her annoyed before.
