Y/N's POV

"Bump cars?" Marco worryingly furrows his eyebrows.

"Mhmm," I hum, nodding. "Believe me, you're gonna have a great time." I say, pulling him near me. "Now, come on, I'm going to pay." I offer.

"Wait, what? No, no, no. You are definitely not paying. Let me," He objects, gently pushing me aside. I chortle, "As if I'm going to let you pay everything. It's my lead, I pay this time, okay?" His eyes sets aside as he thought about it but he soon realizes that it's only fair. Marco nods.

"Cool." I positively put on a warm expression. Before I pay for the ride, I turn to Marco and ask him something. "Do you wanna take it solo or should we ride the same car?"

"Definitely ride at the same car." He wastes no words and picks the choice which is much more safer. I smirk as I pass the money to the person managing the cashier, "I'll take two solo rides."

Marco's eyes widens, "Wait, what?!" I laugh at his reaction while I got the tickets to the ride. "Loosen up, Marco." I say, holding his hand as I lead him to the line where people gets their turn on the ride.

"Y/N... we are NOT splitting." He demands, blinking his eyes firmly as he did. I air out a sassy sound, "Pfsh! It's just bump cars. What can happen?"

"Apparently, a lot of things. Like, falling off while the other cars move, hitting your head, lose a tooth or worse!" Paranoid, he gestures while pointing out a statement.

"That's why it's fun." I shrug. He points out a finger to let something out but then halts. He prevents from answering. Before we even know it, we're in front of the line. It was our turn to take the wheel.

I face Marco and land my hand on his shoulder with a soft look, "Just try to make the best out of it." I walk pass him with a smile and go through the unsecured fence railings.

The arena of the ride is huge. The surface was covered with ebony bulges, so it wasn't all smooth. Other than that, the automobile is the basic part of the ride. Different kinds of colors and patterns spread all over the cars. I spot a jet black car with red stripes across it.

"Definitely taking you." I tell, like it was some sort of living creature. I did no hesitation and directly jump into its car seat. Once I descend on it, I swift my hands to the wheel running it across my touch. I gently grin.

"Y/N..." Marco says as he puts his foot inside the car. I lend my attention to him. He lands on the seat and sighs, "I care about you. Ride safely, okay?" He says in concern, making it sound like it was our last goodbye. So dramatic.

I try not to ruin the moment and nod, "Of course. I care about you too." I smile in confirmation. He did the same and breathes deeply as he turns his face to the front of the wheel.

Flickering lights start to take over the scene. I look around to see bunch of teenagers and adults ready to go and punch the whole area with hits but I only get to see their evil grins in flashes because of the quick illuminations that the light caused.

The place pounds from the loud rock, galactic music coming through the massive speakers. "The galaxy is in deep chaos and you can only save yourselves-" A robotic narrator says. Well, the ride was pretty galactic-themed.

"Hey, Marco." I call out with a grin.

"Three..." The countdown initiates.

He looks at me without hesitation, his eyes in question and confusion.

"Two..."

"Goodluck!" I yell.
