Y/N's POV
"Where are we going anyway?" I've decided to lay out a question on him. We've been walking for several minutes now that it's making me suspicious to where he's leading me and if he knows where he's even going.
"Shh, you'll see." Marco reassures me and continues to walk as he holds my hand gently.
I sigh, quite worried. Although, I don't think I should worry that much since I trust Marco and I know him enough for me to not doubt him.
The road goes on and on as each step we take builds another view and structure to fulfill a scenery. The uneven road made me watch out more on my balance. Without any pressured weigh on me, it was a piece of cake. Thank god I have Marco to support my needs even if it's too much or not, I'd still find it appreciated.
We soon halt to our said destination. A smile forms his lips and lets go of my hand. The steady scenery was familiar to me, making me raise a brow and question what he's up to. Looking around, I've found several spots that made me feel somewhat noticeable.
I cross my arms, "Where are we exactly?"
Marco blinks a bit. "You don't recognize?" He chuckles, shaking his head. I shake my head too from side to side, signaling a no. "Pft. You must be distracted." Slowly, he holds my hand gently and went on the endless path of grass.
Then suddenly, it hit me. I knew where this place is. "Wait, is this.." Up to the very top of the hill, all of our friends were there. We were at the hilltop we used to go to. But why here? How come I didn't recognise this place? Was it another path? It must've been a shortcut! I really couldn't tell where we were.
"Yes. It's the hilltop. Nothing special." Marco rubs the back of his neck and plasters his nicest smile. I couldn't help but smile at this too. Turning to my friends who witnessed our moment, I blushed.
"Since we watched the sunset before and spent our time here, how about star-gazing?" Janna says, laying her back down on the tree. "It was Marco's idea." Star adds. "This place is very cool and breezy too. A nice place to hang." Jackie comments, holding a guitar.
"You play?" I ask, walking near them as I sit down with Marco. "Yes. I think you do too?"
Before I was about to respond, Yusi cuts in. "PFSH! Of course she knows how to play! She's good at it. Here Y/N try and play something!" Yusi grabs the guitar and passed it on to me.
I look over to Jackie for affirmation if it was okay to play it. From the looks of it, everything was cool. I was simply pressured as their eyes were averted to me as well as their attention. "U-Um.. I'm not that good though." I say, trying to form the chords with my fingers.
Marco gives me a small hug and beams. "I'm sure you'll do wonderful. Play it and then we'll all know."
I sigh. "Alright." Even though I really wasn't an expert in it. I can play a few stuff that all of them are also worthy to hear so why not? Carefully, I strum a soft tune.
"Hmhm.. hmmhmhmhm hmm.." I hum along with the tune, looking down on my fingers as they formed the daily sound of goodness.
As the sun slowly disappears from the sky to claim its set, the bluest of sky turned a bit dark, dots of the illuminating stars were beyond the heavens, visible to the human eye. The wind blows as soft as my tune, the grass tickling my legs as well, my lips curving into a smile. Parting them, I sing a bit..
"You're here. I'm here. We're all together. Let's not let go of each other. You're just important as I am to me. Let's be together forever.
Even when the lightest ray of light seems to fade. There is nothing in this world who can make our hope just fade, like that." I pause for a while, instrumental. It was a short verse but it meant a lot to me. A montage of how I feel right now. Right now that I have friends like them, how we're all together and how.. he's here beside me too.
I ended with a G and smiled at the end.
A wave of silence overtook the scene. It made me anxious. 'A-Ah, did I do something wrong? Was I too taken away from what I was doing? Oh my gosh, what if they think that song was overly stupid, i didn't even get to finish it yet! I should've just kept my mouth shut! It must be an embarrassing sight! Oh no, what to di what to do what to-'
"That was amazing, Y/N." I turn my head to Jackie who begin to speak first. "It's nice to hear you treat us as actual friends." Yusi curves her lips into a smile.
"You're talented Y/N! You should do a concert!" Star cheers on.
"Wh- concert? Haha, you're kidding me. That's completely impossible." I laugh it off and shake my head.
"I bet it'll be even more awesome if you add something like this!" Janna suddenly grabs the guitar and freestyled a rocky tune then started to get all crazy with it. All of us start to shut out ears with our hands from the scorching sound.
"Janna I don't think that's Y/N's style of--"
"YOURE KIDDING! EVERYONE LOVES ROCK!" She continues on until a string broke. "Whoops. Eh, it was better on my electric guitar." Shamelessly, she passed it on to Y/N and shrugs. "Sorry I guess?" Sounded more of a question than an actual apology.
I simply sigh. "Ah no it's okay! I can fix it." I say, waving my hands to show that it's all good. Jackie shrugs. She is the one who owns the guitar.
"Why are you guys here again?"
Everyone gathers up around me and says in sync, "STAR GAZING!" In enthusiasm, they happily announce, squealing. I look up to view the enormous sky. I did imagine going here and star gaze with them, I just didnt expect it would be now. Although they did mention it earlier. Must've forgotten.
