Someone's something

Everyone has their person. Probably their 'the one' or their 'soul mate' probably their sibling who's their 'other half'. Someone they share amazing memories with and it's all just a fantasy story for the rest of us mere mortals.

Every time you hear about the magical sparks between them you only wish and think for that to happen to you. You can only hope that one day you share that deep a scar with someone. That one day, someone will be there who will describe you as a magical creature which is only second to unicorns. I mean c'mon. Nothing can beat unicorns.

It is very cheesy but I do want to give someone jitters as I walk past them. I do want to make them nervous when they talk to me. I want to be that person they can't wait to cuddle or hug. I wish I put a smile on someone when I pop up on their lock screen. That person they brag about to their friends. Somebody's angel, somebody's best friend, somebody's good luck charm, somebody's everything. I am just a lost girl  wanting to be somebody's something and I don't think that's too much to ask for

Yes, it's wonderful being someone's something but it's not worth it and not required if you can never be your everything. We are always so absorbed on finding someone who'll value us that in the process we tend to lose track of what we are worth and what we deserve. Your life doesn't have to be perfect for you to deserve the best. Your value is as high as you keep it. Always remember you are second to none. Except unicorns of course. Why do you feel that you are not good enough and that you have to be something worth it?

Thinking about it, it's funny. We expect someone to love us when we ourselves can't. It can't be that hard. We all have an inner soul of a pizza. So yes! Love the pizza in you! Why are we creating bizarre body images only to hate yourself. Yes she is pretty but no! She is not prettier than you are.

A bio molecule. Since when did we start to use it to define ourselves and who we are? Okay, so I have more fat in my body when compared to a model but that shouldn't make me like myself a little lesser. The rest of our body composition is still the same isn't it?

It's not selfish to love yourself, take care of yourself and to make your happiness your priority. In fact it's a necessary. Also, even if it was selfish it's not wrong to follow it. You owe it to yourself to do so. Being selfless always is never going to be any good to you. It will only make u think less of yourself and others will start to do the same. Be the inspiration you've been looking for. Not all of us can have zayn and Gigi Hadid as our inspiration. Buckle up honey! 'Cause you have so much to give yourself.

The best way to be loved is to love yourself. In such a case why are you working so hard to find someone else to do so. Put all that energy and work into something more productive like becoming a unicorn. It's weird when you think about it. It'll take you a billion compliments or more for you to believe you're actually beautiful. But just one critical thought will light up a fire which is ready for self destruction. Exist for yourself and your inner peace and not for someone else's eyes. I'm not telling be in your sweats covered in cheto powder all day not that it's bad but if you do dress up, dress up for yourself and not to impress someone. You alone are enough. You owe nothing to anybody.

You want your so called someone to be gentle with you, to treat you like the precious possession you are. Always remember to be gentle to yourself because you're doing the best you can. And before you throw your love away for someone, first remember that you deserve all the love and affection you have to give more that anyone else in this entire universe. So yes, if your compassion for not include yourself then it's incomplete.

From today promise yourself to turn your can'ts into can's and your dreams into plans. Be your everything. Cherish yourself and pamper yourself from time to time. You are your #1 priority. Promise not to compare yourself to a stranger on the Internet.

Ps. I love you.
