My eyes flutter then open. For a split second I'm scared because my surroundings are different. But of course I realise that this is my new home.
"Eventually I'll get used to this." I think. I get up and stretch out my wings, making some dust fall.
I close my wings up in fear that I just destroyed my new home.
The rock holds.
I breath a sigh of relief. Sticking my head out of the cave a look at my surroundings. Still no sign of humans, nor of dragons.
"Well if I ever spot a confused dragon looking for a place to stay, I'll give it shelter till it can find a home.
I'm not evil.

I need to address my necessities. Water is major problem number one.
Food is problem number two.
I address my water problem, it's actually the easiest. I had already expanded my cave in the morning, where I can stretch my wings without touching the ceiling, where two full grown dragons could live comfortably. So all I need is a source of water right?
Well problem solved as by taking a short flight, I see a small river near to my cave. So I do some landscaping and make a new path for some water, leading to a hole in the roof of my cave that I made for this purpose. The water starts to reshape it's flow and head down my cave. I fly back into my cave and see the water fall, form a little pool that is soaked up by the ground.
I'm just worried if it floods.

Issue two, food.
I know that I could just take from a herd of Gazelle or Antelope, but I just feel a bit sad for those animals.
But then again I once heard that it's overpopulated here.
So my main food sources will be Zebra and Antelope.
But I do need some vegetables.
(Cue readers gasps)
So I need a small farm. Fortunately I know how to farm a few crops, and I don't necessarily need a shovel, hoe or rake.
I just need seeds.

I lie down on the cave floor, exhausted. It was hard work trying to find seeds AND not get spotted by a human.
Speaking of human I need a small part time job to get money.
Why you may ask?
I need supplies like seeds and containers. Only problem is that my tongue in human form is...
Different.
But I'll make it somehow. I gotta.
Oh no!
I'm running low on paper for this book! I know it may sound weird but some fool at school took half the pages out, which had some parts of another book I had decided to write.
Gone.
And same as this page. I can't write more until I can buy another book.
Sounds like a cheap way to speed up time but it's unfortunate.
And I'm prioritising, necesites first, book last.
Bye bye!
See you after I get a new book!

Yes this is a cheap way to warp time but seriously you would get bored of what would have else happened.
Wake up, drink, hunt, eat, farm, go to job, work all day, come back home, eat, drink, take a night flight, sleep.
Repeat.
There happy now?
Peace!
