Chapter 16

The humans are in tents and are eating beef. One of them carries a shotgun and the other carries a sniper. Yes, there are only two of them. But with their hunting gear they look deadly. I'm going to scare them but something stops me. I can see a dragon carcass and I realise that the beef they are eating...
Isn't actually beef.
It's dragon!
Those aren't humans! They just look like humans.
Their something else.
I'm sure of it.
I see a bird come through the cave hole and flutter next to me.
"Your needed." The bird says. I nod and head to the back of the cave where the door is. I grab the nearly unrecognizable handle with my claws and pull the door open and go through. I close the door behind me with my tail and start heading down the corridor.
I do hope it's nothing to dangerous.

"We have a problem. Our enemies, the wereclan has discovered our base. They are outside as we speak. We have also lost a dragonshifter to the werewolves." The lion says.
"I saw them, camping a good half kilometre from my cave, they were eating the poor fellow." I say.
"That's not good. We should attack immediately." The dragon remarks.
"Agreed, only problem is that, we don't know if there are more of them." The wolf says.
"The bird shifters haven't spotted much more, only that they have guns." The bird comments.
"Then the time to attack is now!" The wolf says.
"They might expect us." Thomas points out.
"That's true but I'd rather take them down now instead of later. Later can have horrible consequences. You and I know that." I say.
"True." Thomas agrees.
"We attack effective immediately then. Jan, go to your cave and attack from there, Thomas, go with Jan and help. The rest of us know where to attack from." The lion says.
I nod and lead Thomas to my cave.

It's very bright at the cave. I prepare my flight and soon, I'm out of the cave, flying down towards the werewolves. But in that short distance I notice a few things, one it's started to rain, but the sun is so low in the sky that the sky doesn't really darken. Two there was a clap of thunder.
Three I'm lying on the ground, grey as I was hit by lightning.
Then, because the sun is bright, I'm burning, and I change. I feel my tale become one of steel.
And that serves as the lightnings next target, and I'm hit by lightning again and burned by the sun again, and again until I seem to have made an immunity to the lightning. At this point my dragon body is now completely metal. So now what happened to my human body...

No! No! No.
My human body! It's not human.
It's... A mix between the human posture and everything dragon.
Horrible. Ugly.
And at that point a werewolf comes from the door, shoots me with a gun and I fall to the ground.
Goodbye sweet book. My blood will colour these pages for all eternity.

How did you like it? This last part took long I know, writer's block, I couldn't continue with this book, so I had to end it.
This book is now part of a series I will call the dragons series (yeah I know real creative) but the next book isn't a continuation of this one. Also just because this book is tied with the Triple X doesn't mean it happened in the universe of which the Triple X takes place. Same as the books in the same series (this one)
Peace!
