Chapter Thirteen

*Kendall's POV*

"It's not your fault, Dani, and your Dad will be fine." " How did you know what happened?" "Uhhh" "He told you?" "Yeah, he said to stay away from you until he left and that he knew you would tell me when to come, and you did." She smiled. "I would kiss you, but you're pretty gross." I laughed. "And you're talking weird because of your jaw." I laughed again. She laid down and rested her head on my stomach and I ran my fingers through her hair, and rubbed her back slowly. "It's all going to be just fine" She sniffled a little and I just continued rubbing her back and comforting her. I guess everything did turn out like I had hoped. She isn't yelling or making drive away forever. "I'm here.. Okay?" She didn't respond. "I told you I would never forget" "I love you" she said crying. I smiled. "I love you too."

Just then the guys came running out with stuff to clean me up. Finally! They handed it all to Dani who had sat up by now. "Deja Vu" she mumbled. She cleaned me all up but my jaw really hurt. "I think I did something to my jaw, like bad." "I'd say! You sound like you have marshmallows in your mouth" Carlos said laughing. Without saying anything, James grabbed my jaw and popped it into place. "AHHHHHHH" Dani looked scared. "Thanks" I said rubbing it. "Do you just want us to pick you up tomorrow? You two have a lot of catching up to do. See ya tomorrow at 9" Logan said. I nodded. "Thanks guys" they all nodded and went to the car. "Let's go inside" she suggested. I nodded and stood up. "Thanks for cleaning me up" She smiled. We walked inside to apparently her dad's old room. "You can stay here for the night" "Thanks, and your aunt and uncle don't mind?" "Of course not, as long as you're comforting me, they are fine." "There's nothing is rather do" She smiled really big. "Can I have that hug I asked for now?" I laughed and wrapped my arms around her in a big bear hug. "Hey, lets go to the upstairs living room and hang out on the couch." "Okay, sounds good." We went upstairs and sat on the couch. She snuggled her head into my neck and cuddled herself super close to me. I put my arm around her and pulled her in real close. I rubbed my arms up and down her side. "You can cry now. I'm here for you. I won't let anything happen when I'm with you." She put her arm across my stomach and underneath my back, hugging me, sort of. She took a deep breath. "I don't want to cry. I have you right here... Please don't leave me again." "Never."
