She slammed the door right in my face.. Again. I guess that was my last chance. Should I knock one more time? No, she has made her decision. I am never going to see her again. That wasn't even a goodbye, that was an 'I hate you so get out of my face.' So that was my last time to ever see Dani... I can't go to my table reading tomorrow!! I'll be too depressed. I realized I still had my hand up to the door like I was about to knock and started to put it down when the door opened. On no. "Mr. Jones..." He nodded and put his hand on my shoulder walking me down the nice stone driveway. "Listen son, I don't want you to tell Dani this, okay?" "Doesn't look like I'll even have the chance too, sir. I think she just dumped me, for good." "Yeah the whole house was listening." I got big eyes. "Sorry, don't tell Dani that either." I laughed a little and nodded. "The important thing she doesn't need to know yet, is that she is staying here in LA, she just doesn't need to know." I felt like jumping up and down. "What?? We are going to be in the same city again?" He nodded. "So you guys are moving here?" "Not exactly, you see Kendall, I haven't really been feeling up to par lately. I'm going back to San Diego and Dani is staying here with her Aunt and Uncle." "I don't understand." "I'm self admitting myself to a mental hospital." "What! Why? You seem perfectly fine." "I don't feel fine. I have been seeing things and hearing things and I just don't want anything to happen to the people I love." I nodded. "I'm terribly sorry sir. If Dani ends up forgiving me, I will definitely treat her like you would want me to. You have raised and amazing young woman." "It wasn't really me, she was pretty independent growing up, but thanks anyways son." He said patting my back a little too hard. "So when should I come back? Ya know, for Dani. When will she know?"
